Why Is My Clothing Fitting So Differently Now

Why are my jeans different sizes?

It's a pain in the *ss but it's just the way it is...the jean manufacturers all apply their "own" sizing, some run roomy and others run small - it often also has to do with their typical customer.

You'll find that a lot of the premium denim runs smaller than, say, gap or levis. Even a similar cut will vary so it unfortunately means that the best bet is trying things on (yeah, i hate it too!)

The only other option you can try is www.zafu.com

It doesn't cost a thing: you put in your body type, measurements and it tells you the jeans that will fit you best and the likely size you will need in that particular brand. I really like the site and find it helpful!

I have lost 20 lbs, why do my clothes still fit the same and I still feel totally fat in them?

yes goood for you!! on the weight loss....

as far as the same cloths fitting you after the loss, you may have lost more weight then inches...which losing the fat is good but you to drop a size or two need to lose the inches as well. in doing so, perhaps need to do some toning exercisings.

me i am just the opposite. i have lost a lil in size but no weight whatsoever. my clothes are a little looser but pounds themself are gone.

it all depends how you are going about it. dieting and exercising. while i am dieting i am exercising...so for me i lost the inches instead...

you lost pounds..which is great! i wish i could..but try doing something now to tone so you can slim down and fit into that smaller size for you..

good luck diet and exercise with care.

How many weeks pregnant when regular clothes did not fit?

I am 17 weeks pregnant, and still comfortably fit into my regular clothes, yet I hear people say that they bought maternity clothes even earlier. I don't even feel pregnant- not much for symptoms, no "showing", etc. Not that I mind- at least I can wait to buy the clothes (which eventually will need to be bought), but it seems odd to me.
Also- how long after birth did you fit into regular pre-pregnancy clothes again?

When will I need maternity clothes?

I'm 24 years old, 5'4" and 110-115lbs. I just found out I'm pregnant this week and we're so excited!

With all the hundreds of racing thoughts and questions we now have, maternity clothes are on the list too... but I really don't know when I'll need them?

Most of my clothes are tight fitted (my style preference) so my closet has no "loose" tops or dresses. I wear size xs shirts and I already bought my first size up in jeans: From 00 to a 0 now.

- And, no I'm not really THAT skinny, sizing is whack these days, I'm an athlete with a 24 inch waist, I carry most of my weight in my legs/bum. So don't worry, I'm healthy + gaining for the baby! :)

My question is, at 4.5 weeks, is that fast for pants to start feeling a little tight?? Is it because my waist started so small that I'm noticing it faster? Does it work that way? Or is this just bloating?

I just want to know if i have until month 3 or 4 like most, or if I'll end up "showing" a bit early (month 2...?) based on a lower starting weight?

Thanks!

11 weeks pregnant, and my old clothes don't fit? :(?

I have had my jeans and pants unbuttoned since 6wks because I was so bloated and uncomfortable. I got the Beband, its a belly band from Target to wear with all my clothes while unbuttoned and unzipped. I also wear it with my maternity clothes because so far everything is too big.
I am 15wks and it is my first and I am showing a little but nothing fits and I'm used it to know. I would let you know that a lot of maternity pants stretch, so I am stuck with all my maternity pants being too big. They fit when I tried them on but now they are huge.
Everybody shows differently so don't feel like its too early.
Congrats!!!

Why does Trump wear such poorly fitting suits? Who was Obama’s tailor?

Let’s answer the question and not create a political firestorm over a suit. President Trump has and does wear Brioni for many years. Brioni is known as probably the greatest and one of the most continually expensive suits made in Italy, specifically in Rome. The original name of Brioni was “Brioni Roman Style” back in the 1970s when my grandfather sold the brand in his men’s clothing stores in New York City. With that said, Brioni was the tailor of choice for James Bond films for years. It still and was always known as a $5,000 suit, off the rack, although they can start as low as $3,850. This all depends on fabric. The make of each Brioni is the same, by hand or handmade. Trump is a big man, he must be wearing a 60L Italian size, most likely from what I see on TV. In regards to the fitting of his suits: 60L is a big size. It equates to a 50L US size so the waist on the pants could be a 44–46 waist. He always wears his jacket open creating a larger appearance. Even though fashion at the moment in menswear is all about slim and trim, that does not suit every body shape. Men in the age bracket of President Trump want to be comfortable in a suit all day. They don’t want a tight fit and I would think most Brioni clients that can pay $5,000 or more for a suit are older guys who don’t really care about the fashion of the moment, but want to be tailored and well-fitted, but do not want to look as if they squeezed themselves in someone else’s suit. Could his suits fit a bit better, possibly. Is he wearing a very well-made suit by any standards, absolutely. In regards to Obama: As far as I know he wears Canali and Hickey Freeman. Canali is probably the best fitting men’s suit in the suit market in it’s price range and many brands try to strive for their fit. Canali suits usually start about $1895 so much lower cost than Brioni, but it is not all sewn by hand, but hand finished. Hickey Freeman is known one of the best American made suits along with Oxford. I have only read that Obama enjoys these brands.

Do you think the sizes of Levi's are getting smaller and smaller????????????

Maybe somebody's behind is getting bigger and bigger.
