Why is my best guy friend mad at me? HELP!?
I am going to start with a background of our friendship. Freshmen year I met this guy named Kyle. Me and Kyle were best friends and he had a super hot and very popular best friend named Mikey. Me and Mikey started talking in March and talked until the end of July when he told me that if we wanted to be together I needed to stop talking to Kyle. When I refused he told the whole school we had sex (which we didn't) and Kyle was there to comfort me. Since Mikey had broke my heart I needed to move on and quick. The first week of school I met this guy named Josh. Josh was so nerdy and he swam and played water polo just like me and Kyle. Kyle and Josh were best friends because they swam together all summer. It didn't take long for me to fall for him and when I told Kyle about it he got really mad and said we couldn't be best friends anymore. He also started being really mean to Josh and they lost their friendship and turned into enemies. Kyle then became best friends with my best friend Skyler. I was crushed. Me and Josh talked but he said he couldn't take the amount of attention I draw to him and that he loves me but he couldn't do it. I needed someone to cry to and Kyle was there. From January until last week me and Kyle went back to normal. But this thursday I told him that I like a new guy, Tyler. He said "Open your eyes." then walked away. He won't reply to my texts, he won't talk to me in person, he is giving me the silent treatment and I miss him and I don't know what I did but I need him. I can barely eat, sleep, and I need help. It's been a week and I am going CRAZY.
Why is my guy friend so mad at me?
I have a lot more guy friends than girl friends the ones I do have always try to get me to set them up with my guy friends. Its like I'm there personal dating service because I hang out or know quite a few guys. I have have four older brothers so guys are pretty much around all the time and I kind of understand and get along better with them. Just recently one of my guy friends started going out with one of my girl friends, but he's been extremely mad at me because he's dating her, said he prefer to hang out with me and does want to date her but felt obligated because she was one of my friends I didn't tell him to date her she asked him he could of said no. What am I suppose to do he's one of my best friends and he's blaming me for being miserable and not being able to hang out together.

Months ago I told my friend that I liked him via text, not a great idea, but he was out of town. I didn't want a relationship with him but I wanted to be honest. Anyways he seemed mad that I texted him that and said I should've done it in person. Why did it matter how I said it if he was gonna reject me anyway?
Guy friend is mad at me for no reason...?
I gave my cell-phone number to this guy that I met yesterday. Me and my guy friend was just hanging out when the guy walked up to me. I wasn't trying to go out with the boy, I just thought he was cute and wanted to talk to him later on. For the rest of the day my friend refused to talk to me, like I would ask him something and he wouldn't reply. While we were still hanging out, the guy text me. My friend then again got mad and he started yelling, "I don't know why you give your numbers out to random guys." then he just walked off. What did I do wrong? It wasn't like I wanted to date the boy, I just wanted to talk to him. Any ideas what's wrong with my friend? His birthday is tomorrow and we're hanging out again. What should I say to him?

There is always a reason. Sit down and write a list of the things that happened around the time your friend became angry. At the same time do not attempt to contact that person. Let them contact you. Don't talk about them to anyone and if asked simply answer “Nothing is wrong that I know of.”That puts the ball in their court. If they are really your friend they will eventually cool down and come talk to you.If they show you anger tell them you care about them and wish to resolve the conflict. If they persist then walk away. Sometimes people are only your friend for a purpose and once the purpose is served they hurt you in order to not feel guilty about moving on.Express your gratitude for their friendship and let them know you are still their friend even if they aren't yours.People will respect your behavior and yes I did this so I know that the new friends that I made were absolutely loyal and 20 years later still have my back.
Boyfriend is mad because i hug my guy friends?
Guy's perspective. My girlfriend does the same. She hugs her guy friends which happen to be mine too, but that's just her personality and I'm learning to accept that. I'll admit that I get jealous when I see it but I don't want to be selfish. I'm not asking her to change who she is but it really does affect me when I see it and it hurts a little sometimes. When I do see it, all I can do is turn away. I love her so much with all my heart and I know that she does feel the same way about me too. I don't hug my girl friends in front of her, or ever for that fact anymore because I know she feels jealous sometimes too. I did this for her because I love her. If they, however, hug me, that's ok. It's just that I feel she's a bit too friendly with some of them sometimes. Yes, your boyfriend was jealous, but trust me, us guys, it's in our nature to be. However, he did overreact and was so wrong in dumping you just like that. Definitely should have sorted things out with you first.

My guy best friend is like that too, I have a crush on him too.. The best thing to do is give him time. Try making more friends, & in a week or so text him "Hey stranger." Boys get over things really fast. Maybe you're coming on to strong. He probably already knows you have a crush on him, & he's trying to keep you away because he's taken by avoiding you. You should call him, tell him "Give me 5 minutes." & let it all out! Good Luck!
