Why Is My Hair So Frizzy After I Wash It

Why does my hair get frizzy and puffy after I wash it?

I am a guy with long hair and the thing is I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner just about everyday. But when I am done I dry it with a towel and then comb it down so my hair is straight. This lasts for about half an hour (if I am lucky maybe 45 minutes).

Next thing I know my hair is puffy and frizzy not straight down like it is when I comb it. I tried using hair gel but it dries up my hair and after a while it frizzes again plus when you use gel it dries your hair so it always stays in the same place while as when I get out of the shower my hair does not stay in the same place which is what I liked about having long hair was the not staying in the same place.

Anyways what can I do to get rid of this frizzy and puffy hair? If I have to use one more hand of hair gel or if I have to see my hair puffy or frizzy again I might go batshit not literally but you get the idea ;-)

My hair is always frizzy and dry after I wash it?

I'm an 18 year old girl and my hair is medium length and thick. I find that every time I wash my hair, it feels smooth and soft when wet but when it dries it becomes puffy and frizzy. I've tried every kind of anti-frizz shampoo, deep conditioning products, spray, hot oil, blow drying, the lot. I eat healthily, trim the ends regularly, I do not dye it and straighten/curl no more than once every one/two weeks so I don't know why it'd be unhealthy, but unless I spend hours styling after washing it looks puffy, messy and gross. I'm trying to grow it out long so seriously, what more can I do? Thank you :)

My hair gets poofy and frizzy after washing?

I have really straight/fine hair and its not thick. I don''t wash my hair everyday (2-3 days). After washing, my hair looks so great but the next day its all poofy and frizzy. I've tried morrocan sleek oils and it doesn't work. I don't want to use a straightener to straighten my hair. I use Organix Morrocan shampoo and conditioner. I also don't want to wash my hair everyday since its not good for my hair and it makes it dry and flaky. Also my hair gets really oily on top. Why is my hair doing this and what can I do to stop it and or make my hair look sleek the next day?

My hair is oily and it gets really frizzy and dry after I wash it, which shampoo and conditioner would you recommend for me?

Mix fenugreek powder and buttermilk. Apply it on the scalp, soak for 1 hr and wash with hibiscus leaf powder as cleanser. Do this thrice a week. Avoid other chemical cleansers. After washing and drying the hair, apply organic coconut oil or almond oil. Home made bhringraj oil is also good.Eat more protein and green leafy vegetables in your diet. Drink more water. Workout daily. Sleep well.

Why is my natural hair makeup brush so frizzy?

Trying out a natural goat hair eyeshadow brush, and after cleaning it, it got super frizzy and wonky looking. First time using natural instead of synthetic. What am i doing wrong?!

What can I do to not make my hair frizzy?

My hair gets super frizzy after I wash my hair. It stays that way so its always frizzy. Which makes it harder to do my hair. My hair is pretty short so i can't do a braid. So i dont know what to do with my hair and how to make it less frizzy?

Can someone help me with my hair? It's so frizzy and has always been. I wash it every 3 days, I don't straighten or use any chemicals besides shampoo and conditioner.

Frizzy haired girls are unlucky because no matter what we do, our hair becomes frizzy as soon as any moisture is in the air.The best way around it is to steer clear of conditioner that has a high humectant content. It's the humectants that attracts the water to our hair.If you have dry, frizzy hair then you will want to keep your humectant in your conditioner. Dry doesn't always mean frizzy and frizzy isn't always dry either. If you are using a conditioner for dry, frizzy hair then there will likely be high levels humectants and silicone in it. The silicone will coat the hair to keep the moisture trapped in and is intended to stop more moisture getting in and causing frizz after its dry.You might find, like me, that it doesn't work too well at preventing the moisture getting in so I would recommend using a serum after your conditioner. This will add a further protective coating on your hair and hopefully combat the frizz. If that doesn't work then I suggest either embracing the frizz or getting cornrows!

Is there any simple way to avoid frizzy hair after shower?

I used to have really long hair, and happen to have some natural curl (or waviness), so I can relate to your problem here. There are several things that will help, but if you live in a humid climate, especially during the summer, good luck.Find a shampoo that adds moisture to your hair, or anything that does not promote body.Find a good conditioner that will add moisture to your hair, but not make it nor your scalp oily.If you must blow dry your hair, use a cool setting (or finish with cool air), because the hot air will not only dry out your hair, but it will also frizz it up. Cool air will fluff it up without the frizz.Wear a hatBraid your hair. Yeah, it’ll be frizzy when you take out the braid, but it’ll keep it from frizzing up while in it (I didn’t know how to do this, but a girlfriend did it once for me before riding the motorcycle, which helped keep it under control).I’m not a fan of using chemicals, but you can definitely find some out there that will help control the fizz. But like I said, your main enemy is humidity. Keep in a cool and dry place and you’ll be able to control the frizz.
