If your doctor checked and everything is ok, you have nothing to worry about because "harmless" things like allergies, dryness and sinus infections can cause that. But here's a bigger list of causes; "The cause of nosebleeds can generally be divided into two categories, local and systemic factors, although it should be remembered that a significant number of nosebleeds occur with no obvious cause. Local factors * Anatomical deformities, such as septal spurs or Osler-Weber-Rendu Syndrome * Chemical inhalant * Inflammatory reaction (eg. acute respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and environmental irritants) * Foreign bodies * Intranasal tumors (Nasopharyngeal carcinoma in adult, and nasopharyngeal angiofibroma in adolescent males) * Nasal prong O2 which tends to dry the nasal mucosa * Nasal sprays, particularly prolonged or improper use of nasal steroids * Narcotics, particularly insufflated cocaine * Surgery (such as septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery) * Trauma (usually a sharp blow to the face) * Nose-picking * Low relative humidity of air breathed occurring especially during winter seasons. * Otic barotrauma from descent in aircraft or scuba diving. Systemic factors * Drugs - Aspirin, Fexofenadine/Allegra/Telfast, warfarin, ibuprofen, clopidogrel, isotretinoin, desmopressin and others * Alcohol (due to vasodilation) * Allergies * Anemia * Connective tissue disease * Blood dyscrasias * Envenomation by mambas, taipans, kraits, and death adders * Heart failure (due to an increase in venous pressure) * Hematological malignancy * Hypertension * Infectious diseases * Pregnancy * Vascular disorders * von Willebrand's disease" But, again, your doctor should have picked up on any serious causes.

Bloody nose caused from piercing, is this normal?
It happens to other people too. Nostril jewelry can be sharp when it pokes the inside of your nose by mistake. As an added aggravation, now that the area is irritated it can be made to bleed even more easily until it heals. It should heal up in a few days to a week of not getting jabbed. If this happens to you all the time you can visit your piercer to have your jewelry checked and possibly adjusted. I assume you're wearing a nostril screw (the curly kind). The curves on these can be adjusted to fit more comfortably inside your nose. If your piercer doesn't see an issue with your jewelry, you are just going to have to be more careful with your nose. It took you time to get used to living with earrings when you got your ears pierced. It takes time to learn to avoid a nostril piercing. A couple of weeks is still well inside the learning curve. Just be extra aware of your piercing and try to be careful.

Why does my nose bleed every day.?
I'm not even kidding when I say I have a nosebleed almost every day. I wake up with them sometimes, I get them while driving, on the golf course, on the ski slopes, while I'm sitting at my desk at work, while I'm in the shower. It does not matter where, my nose keeps bleeding. I never got a nose bleed in my life till about 4 years ago, now I get them all the time. I went to a DR for my ear, and I had him look at my nose and he said I have a deviated septum, but apparently nose bleeds are no big deal to him. I just want them to stop, they kind of suck when you're sitting at your desk and blood gets all over your new shirt. What is wrong with me?
Why is my nose piercing is bleeding ?
I suggest using proxide often, and also twisting the nose stud often to prevent it getting caught or anything. Also sometime my nose bleeds because of it getting caught on a blanket or pillow while sleeping.
