Why Is My Period Dark Brown And Clumpy

Why is my period blood black and kinda clumpy?

normal- because Most of your period is the >Shed Tissue Lining> of your uterus
mixed with Some blood- that is the Shedding >Tissue> lining coming out

In the days before ovulation, the hormone estrogen stimulates the uterus to build up its lining with extra blood and tissue, making the walls of the uterus thick and cushioned. This happens to prepare the uterus for pregnancy: If the egg is fertilized by a sperm cell, it travels to the uterus and attaches to the cushiony wall of the uterus, where it slowly develops into a baby.

If the egg isn't fertilized, though — which is the case during most of a woman's monthly cycles — it doesn't attach to the wall of the uterus

. When this happens, the uterus sheds the extra tissue lining.

The blood, tissue, and unfertilized egg leave the uterus

, going through the vagina on the way out of the body.
This is a menstrual period.

Brown... bleeding 3-5 days before period is due?

Periods are weird.
They make their own rules sometimes.
They can be effected by diet, health, long haul plane travel, medication... loads of things!
If you aren't on the pill, they are even more erratic. Despite what you may have heard, it is a rare woman who has 'clockwork' periods!
As for the brownish stuff... this is called 'spotting' and is very normal. It can either be the slow beginnings of your period or your uterus having a mini cleanout... to put it simply.
I have had a number of pregnancy scares in my time, and they have all turned out to be erratic periods.
My mum is a gyno so I'm always extra paranoid, yet well informed!
I wouldn't worry unless it continues for more than a week... then see your GP or drop-in centre, but it will still probably be nothing!
If you were pregnant, you generally have more symptoms than the period thing... that's all a bit of a Hollywood fallacy... it's always worth testing though for peace of mind and because weird things happen!

Why is my blood period dry?

Firstly blood if it’s fresh will be in a liquid like state. The longer you keep it out of the body the more thick it starts to become , that is because of the clotting factors and the platelets in the blood. Now i am assuming what you mean by dry blood is that they are clots. If so then it could be a lot of things. But one of the most common could be you have some problem with excessive coagulation. You will need to get a blood work done initially to see what could be the cause. Some times after there is not much bleeding but only shedding of the lining of the uterus which could be perceived as dried blood.

Why would my CBD vape oil be turning dark brown/black?

If you ever held your CBD oil onto the bottle or cartridge for extended period of time then you have likely noticed the change in oil’s color.First, don't panic! This phenomenon is natural. Like all natural product, cannabis oil contains bioactive ingredients that will alter over time. Why CBD vape oil turns to dark brown/black?Because cannabis oils do not contain any form of additives or preservatives, they are vulnerable to the fundamental laws of chemistry. A change in color does not mean a compromise in oil quality, but a natural chemical response to time, heat, and sun exposure. Each period you use your vape, you are exposing the oil to heat and oxygen: two elements contribute to the oxidation process, which is the prime contributor to the natural darkening process. In the sun, darkening of your oil does not indicate it is no longer effective or useful. It still works the same way and taste as well. However, it is recommended using your cartridge within six months of purchase. For the best Vape experience, Always remember toAvoid leaving your cartridge in direct sunlight. This can help keep your cartridge from accelerated darkening or leakage.Avoid leaving your cartridge in heat, such as a hot car or getting stoned in the sauna.Try to store your vape oil in a cool, dry, and dark or low-light place to ensure the most extended shelf life.

Dark brown discharge?

All blood turns Brown when : Old/Dried/Oxidizes

If your period is late you might get a brown, rather than red, discharge. It could also mean that for whatever reason during your last menses the entire uterine lining failed to make a timely exit. Brown Discharge may happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina.
Old blood looks brown. This may occur when you are ovulating in the middle of menstrual cycle.

Implantation Bleeding? Ovulation? Brown, clumpy discharge for 4 days, Spot of red blood once?

This doesn't really sound like classic implantation bleeding, but here are the most common ways implantation bleeding appears: Implantation bleeding usually occurs about a week before your period is due, since that would be about a week after ovulation when you are most fertile. The bleeding from implantation is also fairly light, like spotting. Implantation bleeding is short and usually bright pink or slightly brown colored.

Since this has been going on with a few days, that sounds like more than you would experience from implantation. If it is dark brown and clumpy, that is most likely discharge, not bleeding. This tends to be a pretty regular part of my cycle. It can simply be old blood or dark colored discharge. This is very classic discharge that occurs during ovulation and mid-cycle. However, some women report brown discharge and spotting very early on in pregnancy. So actually all of this sounds a little confusing, because what you are describing is typical of an average cycle, but also might be signals of early pregnancy. If you have been having sex, I would take a test when your period is due. This all sounds like something I experience often and I am definitely not pregnant, but check it out just to make sure. Best wishes.

What does brown stringy and elasticy discharge mean after a period?

What you describe may be fertile cervical mucus mixed with blood, the blood may be spotting left over from menstruation or due to oncoming ovulation.Depending on your cycle it is possible to be fertile directly after menstruation.Fertile cervical mucus can appear around a week before you ovulate - this mucus normally plugs the cervical opening, but hormonal changes leading up to ovulation changes this mucus so it flows into the vagina to protect sperm from the acidic pH of the vagina and give it a medium to swim through.

Why does my period blood smells like vinegar? How can I reduce this odor?

Women’s menstrual blood smells like blood, tissue from the lining of the uterus, vaginal secretions, and bacteria that live in the vagina. Like all your body surfaces, the vagina normally hosts certain specific kinds of bacteria. These bugs are lovingly called “normal flora” and you don’t really want to get rid of them, as they help reduce the growth of bad bugs that can sometimes cause infections if enough of them spread to your urethra (which is located just in front of the vaginal opening).A mild vinegar-y odor doesn’t sound particularly bad, and is likely normal. Using PubMed, I’m unable to locate much actual scientific research on the scent of menstrual fluids, but it’s clear from many sources that women often worry that they might “smell bad.” And there are plenty of commercial products that take advantage of this concern to scare women into buying products that they promise will help. Some women use douches, but they are not recommended as they can cause other problems. Sprays, powders, and scented products have chemicals that can cause irritation and are also not recommended by medical experts.Cleaning the vulva (lips/labia) and groin area outside the vagina with mild soap and water during regular showers is the main measure for basic prevention. And of course, never clean up by wiping from back to front — since that drags bacteria that normally live in the gut toward the urethra, where they can cause mischief. Many women use tampons to keep menstrual blood from being exposed to air. Changing pads often might also help minimize the scent you notice, but it’s important to know that some vaginal smells are normal in adult women — both during menstruation and the rest of the month. There are abnormal smells that can occur, too, just like there are abnormal vaginal discharges. For example, vaginal discharge that smells like decomposing fish is often a symptom of a bacterial infection that requires medical treatment. If you’d like to read more about menstruation and how it’s regarded, there’s an idiosyncratic little website called the Museum of Menstruation that has some history on odors here: Menstrual odor at the Museum of Menstruation and Women's Health
