Why Is My Teacher So Scared Of Me

Why is my teacher scared of me?

im a freshman in high school and my lit class took a test that would determine what we know and where we are at. so a few months later we got the results and our teacher was pulling us up one by one to his desk to tell us the results. we would either be at grade level (9th) or below (8th) or above (10th and 11th). when i got pulled up the teacher said "um..you're beyond 12th grade." i was like "i love reading " but the thing is he looked really scared of me haha. am i cool yet? lol. but yeah. why would he look at me all creepy?

Shy and scared of male teachers?

I have ha male teachers but I gain their trust and they are nice but I always get scared of them at first. I am not sure why. I talk to them way less than female teachers. I like never talk to make teachers. I got 2 male teachers this school year and as usual, I don't feel confronts le and I feel like just trying to change my class to have a female teacher, since they are nice. I guess I trust more female teachers. I have never had anything happen to me like being abused my a male or anything like that ever, but why am I scared and shy? And shoul I just transfer class?

I'm scared of my teacher, what should I do?

Your question is broader in context as you haven’t mentioned any reason why you are scared of your teacher.I remember when I was in grade 10, my math teacher had a very strange mood. He would usually joke and laugh with us together, but sometimes, he would feel very irritated even at the slightest thing that he didn’t mind making us stand up or sending us out of the classroom. There was a time when he refused to let me enter the classroom because of visiting our school library to get some papers. I only went out since he allowed us to take his lesson to do our exhibition preps for the next day at school.Since then, I had this strange sense of fear when I saw him. I couldn’t smile nor could answer any of his questions. Whoever saw me during his lesson might have thought that I was the dumbest person in the class. The sense of fear never faded until I graduated to 12th grade because he was still teaching us in grade 11.The downside is, when you are scared of your teacher, it can potentially put an end to your grades or performance because you will lose focus and his/her appearance would be a complete distraction.I wasn’t good at math simply because of my teacher, and I pray and hope this won’t happen to anyone. If you are scared of your teacher, you should seek some help from your school or talk to your parents. There was a time when I deeply regretted being so dumb and stupid as I didn’t take any measures nor did I tell anyone about this. I even lost interest in the subject which was very bad though I survived in the exam.So please, don’t let the fear overtake you. The sooner you get some help, the better. All the best!

Why am I so scared of disappointing my teachers?

I’m no psychiatrist, but you could blame nature, or you could blame nurture. There’s a chance that you were born that way. Personality certainly has a genetic component. However, there’s also a chance that you’ve had experiences (particularly in childhood, particularly with parents or teachers) that caused feelings that you now want to avoid repeating.I myself don’t often care about what other people think, and I certainly don’t want my students to care about what I think about them. I want my students to understand the task I’m asking them to do and to produce a skillful result; unless I suspect they have a personal problem, I think of their performance, not them.I encourage you to think differently. Seek help from a counselor or trying reading Self-Reliance - Ralph Waldo Emerson. In any case, I hope you find relief.

MY TEACHER HATES ME! WHAT TO DO? I'M SCARED!?

so my Russian teacher hates me...probablly because i've been skipping a lot of her classes ( i knooow,i knooow you're gonna tell me that that's bad and i should just start going to her classes) ok,,so i am gonna start going to her classes but the thing is...i think she's gonna have a reaaaally bad attitude towards me and she told my classmates she's gonna- teach me a lesson! so she's planning to do something and i'm really scared because she could emberasse in fron of my classmates and i know only 2 of my classmates in Russian class. what should i do if she does something emberassing. oh..and the reason why i've been skipping classes is not because i'm lazy..it's because i don't feel comfortable in her classes because i don't know any of the kids in the class (except the 2 girl) and i'm sitting alone and i'm really bad at russian.please help me! i'm scared.

Why do I fear my teacher hates me?

Many of my teachers never liked me. And the rest did not even know that I existed. And I knew it very well. Only 4 teachers in my entire 14 years of school life have liked me. I may have left 1 or 2. I’m not sure. But I have never felt that loved at school. And I have sometimes worried myself like you did. But one thing is for sure. It has noway affected my life. Not 1%. And I swear i'm not lying. I understand the following now:School teacher (especially science and maths) as a profession is chosen by people who did not get something better. Most of engineering teachers too. Any really educated person (a few good souls do exist) will not make you feel bad. He/she will try to help you. So these teachers who hate you aren’t that smart people. It’s not coincidental that their teaching skills are also bad. So just ignore them. Some teachers might have bias for reasons including caste/religion. You cannot impress them if you belong to a different category. You’ll understand this in your late 20’s. So just ignore them. Some psychos exist. They are unpredictable and unworthy to discuss. Ignore them.Yes. Just ignore them. 'A teacher paying attention to you' and 'your intelligence quotient' are no way related. So don't worry. Enjoy life

Why am I still scared of teachers, lecturers or managers?

Hey! As Anoop said, you might have a fear of authority. This is natural in anyone, and not to be worried about. However, you must do your best to get over it.I personally think you fear teachers and the like, because of a couple of reasons - confidence and expectations. People who get along well with teachers and superiors naturally, belong to two categories:1. Those who are academically or technically proficient and hence confident that they can meet expectations, however high they be. Hence, teachers and bosses treat them as equals and vice versa.2. Those who know absolutely nothing and know that they know nothing. Teachers and bosses naturally expect nothing of them, and get along amiably to avoid unwanted friction.3. A special category - those who can talk, who can entertain. These people matter merely through force of personality, their innate likeability. You probably fall somewhere in between and hence, do not know which way to categorise yourself and approach them as. And because of the same hesitation, those in authority probably do not notice you and hence seem distant and unreachable, and hence, fearsome. The best thing I can ask you to do now, being in a job, is to take part in something that will make them notice you. Maybe take an initiative and complete some project or piece of work well before time. Maybe a little bit of innovation and tweaking to get a better result than just what your job demands. Maybe take a lead in some group work of yours and show that you possess your own talents. On a more day to day note, smile whenever you see them. Greet them. These small approaches, and the positive responses they bring, will help take away the block in your mind against them.Hope this helped.

How do you not be scared when talking to your teachers?

This is a huge issues for a lot of students. The only way to 'get over this' is to open your mouth and ask the teacher a question. LISTEN to the answer and you will soon discover the teacher is just as human as you are and things will get easier.

How do teachers feel if a student is scared of them?

The only reason a student should be scared of me is if they threaten the safety of other students. I will do what I need to in order to keep the students in my care unharmed. The only reason a student should be anxious around me is if they broke school rules and are trying to hide it. I will enforce the rules if and when they are needed.Otherwise, I don't want students to be afraid of me in any way, shape, or form.I’m fairly non-threatening at 5′ barely 4″ with heels, and I usually have a smile on my face. I know most, if not all, of their names even though I can be in a different classroom every single day. I try my best to encourage and not put attention on students who feel uncomfortable, shy, or nervous around me. I make conversation with new students and try to have one reasonably friendly interaction with each student in my class that hour. I have a good reputation on the campus and rather doubt anyone is spreading rumors about how “mean” I am.So, if a student is scared of me, I’d be disappointed that I couldn’t make them feel safe, but I’d give them all the space that I could and otherwise treat them the same.
