Why Is My Yahoo E Mail In Box Not Getting E Mails

I'm not getting some of my emails on my yahoo account?

If you use Yahoo! mail as your main email account, you might not be receiving all of your emails.

What is Yahoo thinking??? Recently Yahoo has started "greylisting extremely deprioritizing" almost every email that goes through their mail server. Greylisting This is a way of attempting to block SPAM. Yahoo mail denies the first every delivery attempt of an email (451 Message temporarily deferred - 4.16.50) from deprioritized mail servers. They assume that SPAMers don't try sending the same email twice, so they put the ip address of that email server on a list and then if the delivery is retried within a short amount of time, they assume that it is a good email.

Now here is the downside. Do you think that spammers care one wit whether they send a "spammy" email once, twice or a thousand times? No, they don't. All Yahoo is doing is increasing the problem. Now instead of being hit by one SPAM email, you'll get three.

This results in people that have been sending email to the same person for the past 3+ years to suddenly not be able to send email. Even when the sender is "conforming to Internet standard practices.

Also install DomainKeys to help fix the problem Dig a little deeper and you will find that you should install DomainKeys to sign your emails from a specific domain. However, even once this is done, you will still get some 451 errors.

The long and short of it is that you get what you pay for...

- Yahoo is not communicating with administrators even after they submit multiple request forms.
- Yahoo is not delivering messages even though they send the response back that the "message was temporarily deferred" (Which sounds like it is just waiting to send the message, but will get to it eventually).
- In an attempt to block spammers, Yahoo is blocking an extremely high number of "good" emails.

Why am I not getting emails on my iphone anymore?

Go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" in your settings app and ensure that you are still logged in with your email provider through there. If you have Gmail, they do not support "Push" so you'll have to go to the mail app to refresh your mailbox and receive new emails. This happened when the iPhone 5 came out. As for yahoo mail, I don't use it.

A number of things you can try include Update Adobe Flash Player Internet Explorer and Java script . Clear Explorer cache, cookies, and browsing history. Hi, Your Yahoo Account MAY have been Hacked, this is happening to people all over the Yahoo network and has been been for months.

ANYWAY HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:-

You need to contact Yahoo by Email.

This can be done by clicking on HELP at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo Home Page under Horoscopes.

Click on Yahoo Mail, or whatever one is best for you, you can also click on the arrows for more options, or type your problem in the Search Help box.

Go to the Right hand side of page and click on Contact Customer Care.

Click on Category, page will reload for you to click on Sub Category.
Make sure you fill in Brief Details of what has Happened, click Enter.

Depending on the Category you select and the Sub Category you also select you should then see at the Bottom of the Page for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. You may have to click on different ones and try variations.

There will then be a Form to fill in. Fill in the form with as much information as you can remember about your security details and your account.

Yahoo will then contact you at a Different Email Address that you need to give them. This email address CANNOT be a yahoo email one.

You need to give them a different Email Address, it could be one that you already have or you will need to create a new one, Google, Hotmail, etc. You do this by clicking on Email and then click on Register and follow the instructions.

They only need this other email address to give you instructions regarding your yahoo account.

You will be asked to create a New Password, Best to have one that is very hard to guess for anyone else trying to access your Yahoo Account.

I Would Also Strongly advise that you register your Mobile Number/Cell Phone number with Yahoo, Account Settings, that way if your account is hacked a message should come up and they can send a code to your phone for you to then unlock your email account.

Yahoo email Inbox will not show all my emails?

Yahoo says this is a glitch and will clear on it's own, it has been making the rounds, it has cleared for the rest of us. To be sure, from the inbox screen, click View all messages, then click unread messages. Could be on the bottom of the last page or in folders. Otherwise it will clear soon.

I'm not receiving my yahoo emails, why?

I too have not received any E-mails --- no regular nor even Bulk Mail --- since around mid-day Friday, February 9th; today is Monday, the 12th (Noon in New Orleans).

I can see E-mails received on February 9th and can Delete them and then see them in the Trash Box and Delete them from there. I just do not have any E-mails in my In Box (or Bulk Box) that were received since mid-day last Friday.

Yahoo does not provide any information that is readily available online. If they E-mailed their users notification of this problem that was useless of course. Nor do they provide any way to get in touch with them. I guess that if you have an account that you pay for they provide this capability --- I don't really know.

Their Search for answers to problems provides nothing that is even remotely related to the question, nor do they provide any way to send them info about the problem.

I was able to find this Yahoo! Answers Canada web page only by doing a Google Search.

This is very serious and is apparently occuring both in Canada, and in the United States (I am writing from New Orleans), and who knows where else, or to what extent.

E-mail is of such importance that even Free accounts should be provided resources for having the problem of not receiving E-mail readily queried, and, resolved.

Yahoo Mail really needs to fix all these problems, and, soon.

Not receiving emails in my yahoo inbox?

I experienced this same problem with only one (of my many) Yahoo! email addresses over the weekend. I inquired to customer care and they replied stating: "A small fraction of Yahoo! Mail users (less than .3%) may have experienced some e-mail delivery issues over the weekend, but the problem has now been resolved. We believe this was an isolated incident. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.”
