Why Is The Justice System So Biased Against Blacks?
Why is our justice system so racist against blacks? Martha Stewart was found guilty of conspiracy, perjury and obstruction of justice, charges that carry up to a 20yr sentence yet was only sentenced 5 months in jail. Lil Kim the black rapper was only found guilty of perjury and got 1yr and a day. Sociological studies have shown that black and white teenage boys committ fairly the same crimes yet blacks are arrested at a higher rate, given harsher sentences and held longer. The supreme court once ruled the death penalty unconstitutional largely because of racial discrimination but yet it's still in effect, a white has never been put to death for killing a black(this is sending the message that a white person life is more valuable than a blacks). Also there is a longer prison sentence for selling crack than for selling cocaine because whites sell cocaine and blacks sell crack(if you are a drug dealer), the prison sentence for methinfedamines have been lowered because it'sa white crime
Is the criminal justice system racist?
Argue against these two submissions: 1. The courts/police are not racist. They give ethnic minorities harsher sentences (for committing the same crimes as white people) because ethnic minority members are more likely to be unremorseful, disrespectful, and hostile to the court system (perhaps because they perceive it is racist). The judges are therefore justified in believing these members of ethnic minorities are more likely to re-offend than white people, and are therefore justified in giving them harsher sentences on average. 2. Stereotypes/prejudices of ethnic minorities as being more "criminal" exist for a reason. Ethnic minorities are statistically more likely to commit violent crimes and are statistically more likely to re-offend than white people. Stereotypes are okay for a court to use in deciding how to sentence a member of an ethnic minority, because the liklihood of re-offending is a very important consideration for a judge in deciding a sentence for a criminal offender. I was arguing with a friend today about whether the criminal justice system is racist [because ethnic minorities are more likely to be convicted, and are more likely to receive a harsher sentence, than a white person for a similar crime]. I believe the justice system is racist, my friend argued that it wasn't [using the two arguments I've outlined above]. I found it hard to tear down her arguments. Can you help me with this?? Thanks!
Why does the justice system favor women so much? If equality is the goal, shouldn’t women also suffer harsh penalties for taking advantage of men?
This is actually a huge problem that men's rights groups are actively working on. Many people interested in social justice will complain that blacks receive disproportionately longer sentences than whites for equivalent crimes. When you compare men with women, however, there is a much, much bigger difference than between blacks and whites. In other words if you are being sentenced for a crime, you are actually much better off being a black woman than a white man.There have been attempts to estimate the disparity in sentencing between women and men. A frequently cited figure is that a man will receive a 60% longer sentence than a woman for the equivalent crime. A major methodological hurtle when computing these figures is that many times the woman won't even make it to the sentencing stage: the disparity is there at the conviction stage as well. In fact the bias exists at all levels in the justice system (and honestly I'm not sure how any sane, observant person could have failed to notice its existence.) In regards to false rape claims, I'm not going to offer up any numbers as these are much more hotly disputed than the above. Rather I'm going to leave you with a thought experiment.Which is more difficult, sticking a soft body part inside a small hole in an unwilling other person's body, the punishment for which, should you get caught, will be many years of hard time in prison after which it will be impossible to participate in public life in any meaningful way? or is it more difficult telling a lie, the consequences for doing so, should you get caught, will almost certainly be negligible? And you might even get invited to a White House dinner. But no, women are perfect. They never lie.
Why do some white people think anti-racism is anti-white?
As a result of the worldwide global system of racism (white supremacy) being in place there are three basic categories of people; White People Non-White People White Supremacists (Racists) Not all white people are racists (white supremacists) but you do have to be a white person in order to be a racist (white supremacist). This is a choice that white people make, to participate in a system that was in place when they were born or to participate in replacing the system of racism (white supremacy) with a system of justice. In other words there is only one race of people on this planet and they are the white people who choose to mistreat people on the basis of color. There is no race of non-white people. Non-white people are victims of race and there are victims of race-ism. The white people who practice racism (white supremacy) do so using 2 basic methods; Deceit Direct Violence I say direct violence because deceit itself is a form of violence. When you are fooling someone, unjustly, to their detriment, that is a form of indirect violence. When this is uncovered through conversation or in deeds...the closer you get to the truth about EXACTLY what racism (white supremacy) is and how it works, white people will get offended and non-white people will get embarrassed. In fact you can gauge how close you are getting to the truth of what racism (white supremacy) is and how it works by keeping an eye on both of those two things. And if a white person is with a non-white person you will find that the non-white person will speak out against the conversation before the white person...a social aspect of "protecting the master".
Blacks are not the problem in crime?
I was only aware of some of those statistics. Thanks for the research. It is hard to find. The police and all government departments are scared to furnish information not to the liking of blacks. It is funny or perhaps weird that the rare white on black crime is the rationale for the hate crime laws. Meanwhile black thugs have declared a large scale war on the white race. And why not. Any white complaining is suspect of bigotry. In large measure, whites have themselves to blame. If we would support our people the way blacks support their people, the thugs would have second thoughts about attacking us and our property. And their race card wouldn't be worth very much.
