Yahoo is very slow, takes 3 minutes to pull up e-mail. Not my computer, yahoo only one that's slow.?

something you are doing i have had yahoo email for many years, probably 8 or more never had that prob even with dialup (my password is less than 6 letters)

Why uploading files (attachments) takes a long time in yahoo.mail?

it depends on ur speed/connection also... u can right clik ur connection and go to properties, it will tell u your upload/download speed.... depending if you are on dialup / dsl /broadband .. the time differs.

Why does Yahoo mail give you so much space (1000GB)?

Thanks for the A2A. I started to give a real answer to this, but then realized it would be revealing too much of the company strategy. So, let’s just leave it with “there’s a really good reason why you’ll need that much space in your inbox going forward. ^_^” And as we roll it out, I think you’ll be amazed at where Yahoo Mail is going next.

I have Att yahoo dsl service. If i discontinue this service will I lose my Yahoo ID?

nope.

Is dial-up more secure than broadband from web attacks?

Yes it is.
With dialup, your internet address is always changing on each connect, whereas with broadband, your IP is usually consistent.
All you need with broadband is a firewall and you need not worry.

Yahoo mail latest version is horrible.it does not run at all. It is damn slow. Older version was really better?

If the page is loading too slowly, freezes frequently or features are not working, this usually indicates a problem with your web browser or that you need to enable JavaScript.

Many times switching web browsers will solve the problem. For example, if you usually use Internet Explorer close the page and reopen using Firefox or Chrome. If this does not help, you may need to upgrade your web browser, you may need to upgrade your computer system, you may need to enable JavaScript or you may have low bandwidth speed or dial up which will slow your internet considerably.

To upgrade your current web browser or download a new one:

Ensure JavaScript and Adobe Flash Player is downloaded and enabled and that you are using the newest version of each of these programs.

Try refreshing the page, clearing your cache and cookies and restarting your computer.

Lastly, check to see if your anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware or firewall is blocking or interfering with the site. Temporarily disable each one to see if any are causing this problem and then you can adjust your settings to allow Yahoo Mail.

How do I fix error qmail-send program at yahoo.com.I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the f

Hi,
I phoned Yahoo! yesterday, 11-28-06, and they told me that they are still working on the bugs of the Yahoo! Beta Mail The "Session Expired" issue is what they are working on at present.
Thousands are having many different problems with their mail as there is still a glitchs that Yahoo! hasn't gotten fixed yet in their new format.
This applies to almost all areas of mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending, attachments, photos etc.), messenger, original and beta mail, and search problems, for the last two weeks.
I found this in What's New In Mail:
We’re wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between Yahoo! Mail Beta and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

So, it seems we have to uninstall these two things or try to work around them until they finish wrapping things up.

This is feedback I got from a member of whom I helped:

Message: Clarification: freecreed.com did NOT help me get back into yahoo.
On the other hand,
http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/ can be used to sign into yahoo, then put yahoo back into the address block and hit go. It will take you back to yahoo and you can open mail normally. Otherwise, you can open mail in wap, but it is blind. I have to go thru wap each time I log on. Yahoo no longer remembers me, either with IE or firefox.

How do I recover my Yahoo account when I can't access my backup email or backup phone?

How much do you need it? Can you walk away and not distress about it? Or is the code to your bank vault in there? I hope not actually. Yahoo has been sold and the people running it now are not the same people that created it. (With a few notable exceptions, but that’s not going to help you either.)The new people may have great processes for this, but I didn’t even try to recover my y!mail account when I worked there because it was so hard to find the right person to get the right answer. AND I could walk over to their desks once I figured that out because I worked in Sunnyvale. If you really need this I’m so sorry. I don’t know where you should go anymore either. Similar questions have been asked on here before. Check out if they got any good answers.

What are the differences between a dialup and a dedicated line?

dial up ( u use ur computer modem to dial up a phone number that is going to connect you to your internet server)
you are using your phone line.
dedicated line ( is a phone line you' re using exclusively to communicate with your internet server.) it might be a second phone line.
