Why is my cat so evil?
Animal have a way of picking up things you can't if your cat don't like these people you should try tto see what it is and not trust them as you do. Try giving your cat three different kinds of food like science diet, Imes and healthy choice becuase if one food is missing something he needs to be happy andhealthy then the other ones may provide that. Besides it gives them a choice to eat what is out when he/she wants instead of being made to only eat what you give. My at has three dishes of these kinds of food and she is much happier, she also get tempation treats when she is good. Do you buy her/him toys? My cat loves it when she gets a new toy like the catnip stuffed mice or balls she plays with them only when we are not home and that is everyday while we are at work she leaves them about the house in the most funniest spots... I once read that it is crule to feed your cat or dog only one food, the same food all it's life... You wouldn't feed your child the same thing it's whole life right? Why would you your cat?

Ideally kittens should stay with their mother until they are 10-12 weeks old. Though they are weaned off her milk earlier than that, they need the extra time with her and their siblings to learn social skills and manners. Your kitten missed out on those valuable lessons. She considers you as her playmates and doesn't realise how much biting or scratching can hurt human skin. Never use your hands as toys as this just teaches them that flesh is fair game at any time, and the bigger they get, the more it hurts when they play rough. Toys that dangle from a wand stick are ideal because she be as rough as she likes with them, and your hands are at a safe distance from accidental claw damage. If she gets too rough during playtime, tell her '"no" in a firm voice or hiss at her. If she doesn't back off immediately, tell her "no" or hiss again and walk away completely ignoring her. This will teach her that rough behaviour won't be tolerated. Many cats don't like being held, because they feel threatened if restrained. Some cats do have an extremly low tolerance of being petted and if you miss the warning signs (flattening/flicking of the ears, tail swishing etc) then they will bite just to make sure you get the message. Sometimes, if they are enjoying being petted, they can get over-stimulated and will also bite because of that. I'm glad you're not tempted to resort to punishment of any kind, as cats respond to aggression with aggression or just think that you enjoy playing rough as much as they do. Instead, when she's gentle, reward her with food treats and lots of praise to encourage that behaviour. Be patient with her, she's still just a baby and will learn better manners as she gets older. Can a cat be Evil?
I was discussing this just the other day with my sister and my cousin. My cousin said that they can had mental problems like people but i said that they couldn't. I have read some of the answers and I don't know if i totally agree with them about cats reacting to how they have been treated in life. My sister got her cat as a young kitten. She was patted and treated well. She always likes attacking now. She has bitten my parents and has made them bleed. When she plays she likes attacking. I think she is just playing but my sister says she gets evil looks sometimes and my sister knows she is going to attack. My cat i got from the pound when she was nearly one. She must have been a stray for a while and treated poorly at the pound. When i saw her she wanted me to patted her. I tried through the cage as we are not allowed to open the cage. I fell in love with her and adopted her. She is the most gentle cat. She has been here since the end of last year and she has never even scratched me. She loves to lie on her back for me to pat her and when i do she puts her paw gently on the back of my hand without having her claws out. I can put my finger on her mouth and she will not bite. I think that the cat just enjoyed being rough. It may not have wanted to hurt you. Some cats just play rough.
Evil cat what do i do?
i have a cat that i got from the cat shelter round about march time hes about 7 yrs old and has been neutered and stuff the things is when we first got him he was really vicious and i mean attacking you for no reason and sinking both is claws and his teeth straight in and leaving nasty marks and drawing alot of blood. we decided to give hima bit of time to get used to us as we thought he may have been beaten by previous owners. he settled down nicely and was very friendly withme and my partner sit on our knee and follow us etc but not with visitors to the house so we just warned them to be cautious, we bought a kitten and he was fine with her but recently he has turned vicious again attacking us and every 1 else thats near even the poor kitten for no reason, im pregnant now and i just dont know what to do or why his behaviour is so bad i dont want to take him back to the shelter as i feel he cant be re homed or may get beaten again and that maybe putting him to sleep is the nicest
Why do people think Cats are evil?
The whole thing goes way back to when Christianity (no offense to Christians, it's just history, every religion has some dark patches in it's past) was getting established. Like any up and coming religion, it wanted to be the dominant religion. The is usually accomplished by converting or extirpating the "heathens" that happen to be around. One thing that helps with conversion is demonizing the old gods. Some of the old pagan gods of note at that time happened to either hold cats in high regard or actually look like cats (eg: Bast). So, cats by being valuable symbols in the old time religions with the old gods, become the demons of the new religion. Cat behavior, unfortunately, helped keep up the idea somewhat. Ever heard cats howling while they are fighting or mating? If you were raised to think cats were evil, those noises just might prove it. They also mate alot (promiscuous! how shocking! even if it is trying to apply human morals to an animal....rather silly), hunt at night very stealthily and have eyes that seem to glow in the dark. Of course,so do lemurs and everyone thinks they're cute. Anyhow, later on, cats remained useful and friendly has they had be for a long time and many people still kept them. They were then as they are now, good companions for old women. There came a time when old women were suspected of retaining some knowledge of herbal medicine and maybe (oh no!) some non-Christian beliefs. Then as now, old lonely women make good targets and the cats were guilty by association. Burn the witch and her cat. Do you know why it is so very rare to find a black cat without a single white hair? Back in the day, on the Feast of St. John, they burned cats alive in wicker baskets because they thought they were evil. The color most associated with evil was black. They wanted to burn the most evil of all the cats. If they found a pure black cat, the other cats got parole and the black one got to fry alive. In other times and places, cats are associated with good, even the black ones. Thinking cats are evil is a primative, unenlightened view held over from some very dark days in European history.

Black cats in particular were thought to be evil because of their associations with witches. Because a black cat could blend in and remain unseen in the dark, they were thought to be an ideal "familiar" of a witch who was most active after nightfall. Cats were also often used in sacrifices. The association with witchcraft made the cat seem evil and one crossing one's path became considered bad luck, except in countries where witch trials did not take place, it was considered good luck.
Why do some people think cats are evil?
Honestly i get so annoyed when fools keep sayin cats are badluck i feel like blasting those fools. if there's any animal which is evil then its humans and fools blame bad things which happen to them on cute kittehs. they're in no way evil! its the kitteh's cuteness which cures my pain all the time whenever fools hurt me i dont blame it on cats my cat heals me.

Well you must be attracted to the wrong type of women!.. aaaand been around maybe wild cats. Because each and every single one of my cats that I have ever had were all sweet lovable animals. One of them actually acted more like my dog, and was sitting with me all the time, and never left me side. And actually my new little kitten is sitting right here in front of the monitor watching the cursor move on the screen, and trying to bat at all the letters i'm typing :-)... How can you say they are evil!

No, it's not in any way evil. I don't find it any different, but I do get grossed out. Then again I can't eat buffalo wings without thinking about the chickens that died and feeling the bumps on the skin. I get grossed out about a lot of that stuff. I think to many people it's just foreign. Over here, we have dogs and cats as pets. People don't think about eating them. But people eat horse meat, too. And many people freak out about that. I don't like people who eat dog, cat, horse, and all of that. But let me explain a little further... Okay, so my cousin's boyfriend owns cows. Just like 6 backyard cows. They raise them up, keep them, and every so often kill them. Now I eat hamburgers, and I eat steaks, I eat beef. But thinking about them killing their cows makes me and my cousin want to cry! Why is this? Because now it's personal. People think of others killing and eating horses, and they own horses of their own. People think of others killing and eating dogs and see Fido on their lap. People think of others killing and eating cats and watch Fluffy sleep silently in the corner. It becomes personal in those cases. I don't think we should tell Asian countries what to eat and what not to eat. Some of their things may not be appetizing to us, like starfish, scorpions, roaches, it sounds disgusting to us who aren't used to it. But then Asian people come over here and see that we eat like cow and they think it's disgusting. So it just depends on what you grow up with. And yes, we do kill cows, pigs, chickens, and all of that very inhumanely. That's partially why I get grossed out while eating some meat. I hardly enjoy hamburgers because now I see cows! I have no problem with pig, but chickens and cows have a weak spot on me... Don't ask me why =P
Why is de-clawing a cat considered so evil?
OK to put this in "human" terms I will give you examples from my own life experience (as a human and not in relation to my cats). For reasons I wont go into, I had to have several toenails removed. I also had to have a hysterectomy. The hysterectomy, while done for medical reasons, had the beneficial side effect of removing my hormonal insanity and I no longer have to take medication for the erroneous diagnosis of bipolar disorder (manic depression). The toenail removal, on the other hand, has left me with long term problems and (occasional) phantom pain as well as having nothing to protect my bare toes if I stub them or drop something on them. And believe you me, if you think not having a toenail makes your toe hurt less when its injured you are VERY sadly mistaken. I would take the hysterectomy over the nail removal any day and and they didnt even have to cut my knuckles off to do it! (This was meant as a halfway humorous response but also as food for thought.)
