Why Should The Fact That I Graduated Stop Me From Getting Back At My Old Highschool

Did you feel sad when you graduated high school?

I'm graduating from high school in two days and I'm so excited but at the same time I feel extremely sad. I didn't feel sad at all until a couple nights ago, I couldn't sleep because all I could think about was the fact that my childhood is practically over. I've been crying almost non stop since then. Even when I'm at school with my friends I cry a little. This is weird for me because I really hate school. I've always hated it and I always thought graduation day would be the best day of my life, but now I feel like this. Also, I'm going to college in the fall and I'm really nervous about it. It's seven hours away from my hometown and I feel like most people there are gonna be older than me because I'm only 17. How did you feel when you graduated?

If you are 29 years old, what year did you graduate high school?

I never even went to high school at all, so I have no idea what year I would have graduated. Sometime during the 90's is all I can come up with. I need to know for a job application... I'm just gonna say I graduated high school cause it sounds better than saying " Well, I never went to school, but I have my G.E.D.!"

In my recurring dream, I never graduated from high school (which happened 13 years ago). What's the deal?

Oh my goodness, I also have a similar and recurring dream like that one. I am now 53, and graduated from college 32 years ago. My dream involves the last weeks of my senior year, when I realize I signed up for a class and never attended it or dropped it. I am sure that it will prevent me from graduating.

Oddly enough, I graduated with honors with almost 20 semester hours more than I needed, as I took some classes for fun that did not apply to my degree. I don't have it every night but have had it maybe a dozen times, and is the only recurring dream that I ever remember having.

Is it possible to get back into high school after dropping out?

In America many h.s. will not take you after 18. However there are many alternative schools that will take you up to 21 if you only need a couple more credits.

Graduating college at 26...?

Anyone who tells you are too old at age 26 to graduate from college is full of crap.

So you're 22 years old without a college degree... what do they expect you to do, go to work in McDonalds and pity yourself for the rest of your life?

No, you go to college, finish it when you're 26 years old. But do a good major like computer science or engineering. Get good grades, do an internship. Upon graduation, you'll have a good job lined up for you. Before the age of 30, you'll be making six figures.

You don't want to make the mistake of taking other people's garbage advice and then realize you made a mistake when you're like 35 years old. By then you'll want to go back to school. You'd be 39 years old when you graduate, which still isn't too old. But it would've been better if you had graduated at 26 years old.

Please go back to college and do get good grades with a useful major. Thats your only realistic hope of getting a good job and living a comfortable life.

I am 17 years old and failed 2 years of high school, so I still have 2 years left to do, which means I'll finish high school at 19. How bad is that? Am I a lost cause?

The bright side is you are still in the system and willing to try. Kid, there's many people who drop out and go back 2-6 years later to get their GED. Then they start all over again by working, going to college for the first time, or raising a family between age 19-29 which is way harder. I mean even age 25-30 isn't that weird to be in college for your 4 year degree either. Some people simply don't have the funds to pay for college. Are those people who delayed it by working and saving up money any worse as humans? No. You can even read about a I think 90-something year old woman who earned her 4 year degree or high school degree because she had to drop out of middle school/high school in the 1940's? 1970's? If anyone makes fun of you and they graduated high school on time it shows a bad character. They weren't raised with respect to others. If they are late like you and feel like dragging you along and say "let's both quit" ignore him/her. Kid, in this day and age even a high school diploma means something. It's something that people need on a basic level. So many people get into debt to pay for college because so many people are going to college it's basic necessity to go to college (for the right reasons) that high school is silly not to finish. What I mean is whether high school or college there are people who take longer or shorter time to get things done. Just get it done kid. You need to find a teacher who will help you. I was not in your shoes but I had problems with Algebra. With extra tutoring help from a compassionate teacher and tutor I passed. You may not have the same resources (private tutor) but it just means yea you'll take longer. You can do it though. Google stories if you like.

How do I get back to my high school weight?

I graduated two years ago and have been gaining weight, when I graduated I was at 160 lbs now two years later I am at 180 to 185 lbs. I want to lose at least 20 lbs so that I can get back to my old weight. I have been trying to work out but I feel that I might need to do something else. I have been looking into supplements.(things like creatine and muscle builders) Is there anything else that I might be able to do. Before using those supplements I wanted to know what were the up's and down's to them, can someone please give me some advice.
