Why When People Hear

Why can't people hear me when i talk?

Everyone keeps saying speak up and I'm getting super pissed about it because this been happening ever since puberty hit and my voice changed. No matter if its the quietiest place they still can't hear me. My parents always mute the t.v.and turn down the radio when I start talking, I get pissed about that because it gets annoying. My friends can hear me but they even say I talk low sometimes and some other kids can't hear what I'm saying at all. Its gotten to the point where people think I'm shy and my aunt keeps talking to me like I'm a kid when I'm in my late teen year. They be like OK now say that again and speak up this time when really they heard me loud and clear and that's rude. Then they be like yaaay like they do with little kids that got potty trained. Its getting super annoying it sounds like I'm talking normal and clear but for some reason they can't hear me

Why people hear song?

Because they love to hear song that's why they hear a song.

Why do people hear only what they want to hear?

It's called a world view. Have you ever heard of rose colored glasses? A person is said to be wearing rose colored glasses if they always see the bright side of things, and only the bright side.

A world view is sort of similar. Everything a person sees is filtered with their world view glasses. So things that a person sees that doesn't match their worldview either becomes invisible, or becomes distorted by their world view.
I can't tell you how many times I have written something in which all of my strongest points have been totally ignored by the reader and they only focused on my weak points in their response.
I would like to believe that I am a fair minded person, but from time to time I have even fallen prey to my own world view. And the older I get the more power my world view holds over me.

Why can't people hear me when i talk?

I have this same issue. I notice it is heightened when i’m deprived of sleep, when i’ve smoked, or when I’ve drank caffeine. But sometimes I have that issue when I haven’t done any of those things. Being continuously not heard almost gives me the feeling that I am invisible to others. Which makes me sad and feel of less value. Sometimes I feel like I am yelling and people still don’t understand me. And they give me a strange look as if i’m speaking a different language. It really throws me off. Somedays I feel like people hear select certain words that they were able to hear out of what i’ve said and kind of piece together their own meaning of what I probably said from it. And it’s really annoying when they think I said something mean when I didn’t.I think this has something to do with the subconscious. Perhaps the things you are saying don’t quite match up with the things you are thinking so your voice loses a bit of it’s confidence because the subconscious doesn’t believe what you are saying so it sort of traps the sound a little, though you can hear the words you spoke bouncing around in your own ears much louder than the other person actually did. So it is confusing because you feel like you’re talking loud but the other person hears a whisper. I noticed after going to counseling other people don’t ask me to repeat myself as much. This may be because I understand myself a tad better and am more confident in the things I am saying. I know this is an odd way of looking at this issue but this is how I understand it.I don’t think them not hearing you is any indication of how they feel about you though. I wouldn’t think less of yourself because of it or take it as an insult. They just literally can’t hear it.Also a fun exercise you could do would be to find some type of voice recorder (computer with mic, or iphone app) and record yourself singing. Then listen to see how loud you sound compared to how loud you thought you sounded while you were singing. Repeat this process to gradually gain confidence and strength in your voice.

Why do people hear voices in their head?

Well ok. about a year ago I started yelling at myself in the mirror. at first I would just think things in my head but then they just started coming out of my mouth. I started hearing voices in my head to do ****** up things. It went away though. But I had voices in my head all last year and I remember waking up at night just yelling and like pissed.Tried to sleep outside because I couldn't stay inside. Im almost sixteen now but it happened to me all the time as a freshman. And when I hear the same music I used to listen to as a freshman the voices come back. I deleted all of my old music but I dont know what is wrong with me. Im not a weird kid at school. Im not some goth emo kid just a normal person. I have a lot of friends but I havnt told anyone about this but now I have been getting this thing where I feel like im high for like 5 months straight. I dont know if thats related or something else but I take pills for that but the pills are like supposed to be bad. nvm. why do voices go into your head I guess im asking.

Why do people hear voices?

People don't. They are just making them up in a different part of the brain and confuse themselves and others love to convince them that they do and medication is somehow very important because it clearly makes them feel good that they made someone feel like a psycho. And there are others who say that it is God's message or something. Oh, well....

I can change the pronoun "I" to "you" in every sentence and get everyone to believe that I am hearing voices. What crap! I am making up the the sentences in my head, I can change the pronouns whenever I feel like it. Doesn't mean I am hearing voices, just means I am being creative. Too creative for everyone's comfort though -- since everyone strongly believes that sentence formation in the head is automatic and I "can't help it" -- yeah right! I can think freely in three different languages at my own free will -- that is not 'voices' -- that is me who studied hard to get to do that in other languages over extensive periods of time. Yes, maybe I should have just watched television and made everybody feel comfortable about me, but I like brain stimulation and I did that. I can easily debate from two points of view too, because I spent time understanding them. I know I am very "abnormal", but puhleez don't tell me it's "voices". I like doing this stuff -- and is certainly not out of my control. Some people who have no control over their own minds, go on and believe that it's "voices". Rubbish!

You can't "hear" voices unless they come through your "ears".

Rest of it is just making up imaginary stories to cope with the stress of being abused.

Don't fool yourself.

Why can people hear sound?

Animals can hear sound too. Why?So that they will know if there is a predator nearby. So that they will know if they should continue eating or sleeping or flee.Walk past a sleeping dog, make some noise and see what happens. The dog will quickly wake up and look in your direction. If you are a ‘friend’ it will not bark, but if you are a ‘foe’ it will start barking.Animals can hear sound also because they can then differentiate the sounds made by different animals and identify those made by their kin. This is for protection as a herd and also for mating purposes. That is the function of hearing for animals and human beings. The only difference is that for human beings, who have the unique gift of speech, talking is related to hearing. If you are born deaf, you will not be able to speak. This is because babies learn to speak from hearing speech from the parents and other people around them. They learn to imitate the sounds that they hear made by their parents and those around them. That’s why when parents say “Papa” and “Mama” to babies, they will hear the words and try to imitate them.

Why can't people hear me speak?

Put your hands right under your ribs. That's where your diaphragm is. You need to speak from your diaphragm. You push the words up from right there. And when you practice and get it right you'll feel it.

You probably speak through either your sinuses or throat. And that kind of speaking can't be projected. To make your voice louder, take a deep breath and speak out from your diaphragm.

Also do you have asthma maybe? That lack of air getting into your lungs makes a big difference in the ability to speak out loud. If you suspect a problem like that you could ask your doctor to test your lung capacity. You'd just be asked to blow into a meter.

Why is it that when I talk, people literally don't hear me?

Oh BOY, have people failed to acknowledge me!Oh BOY, have people danced to my tune! For me, only one method has worked, but it still works and big time!It can be a pain in the other side to get to know this method of communicating, but you can see the results immediately. You obviously do not have command, and neither did I, so you have to do as I did and TAKE command! No buts! You now have command! Use it!Birthday party with friends and in-laws from both sides. Everyone babbling along happily. All as it should be. But something needed a bit of cooperation to get done now-ish. So I shouted the message out loud over the crowd.Noone reacted. So, I reacted according to training and just spoke firmly: AT-ten-TION! (Giv-AGT! In Danish)Tableau! Then everyone looked at me.I filled the otherwise embarrassing silence with my message in a normal and clear voice, so even those farther away might benefit from their own silence and hear my message.Lastly.They do not do it on purpose. If someone ignores you, you can tell. You might be able to change their behaviour, but I have been unable so far, even with a very close and willing (at least, so it says) subject. But take the command and use it.Do the drill sergeant bit! Or:Scream at the top of your lungs: "SILEEEEEEEEENCE!"Enjoy the quietude for max. 1/2 second. Then add: "Thank... You." in your best loud-ish, whiny, Sister Mary Elephant voice. If, for any reason you might choose to, you happen to shout: "ALLAHU AKBAR!"...be prepared to launch a history of TourettesBOMBBELT! Oh, so sorry...It's there, the attention. But you have to reach out and take it.

Why can't people hear their own accents?

I disagree with this sentiment. I am from New Zealand, a country where the accent is internationally loved, and also mocked. It is unique, but often confused with the Australian accent which is a little more twangy. My Dad was born in England but left when he was 6, and my mother is a kiwi, so my accent is probably slightly altered by growing up with my Dad in the house.Anyway, up until about six months ago I could not hear my own accent, then I left the confines of Australasia for the first time. I spent 6 weeks in the USA, a month in Bangladesh, and a month in England. We will ignore Bangladesh because I didn't meet many English speakers, but in the USA the huge majority of people I met thought I was Australian. I played this off as lack of exposure to the NZ accent. But when I was in the Air New Zealand terminal of LAX about to fly home, I heard the New Zealand again for the first time in 6 weeks - and my god was it horrible. I could not believe what my ears were hearing, it was so thick, and odd, and.... unfamiliar to me. I couldn't understand what people were saying, I knew for a fact I do not sound like that. Then when I went to London, home of many kiwis, and people still thought I was Australian. The British have a lot of exposure to the NZ accent, so they would know the difference. Even other Australians and Kiwis I met in England and America thought I was Australian. This made me start to think that I do sound different to most New Zealanders. After returning to New Zealand I became very aware of how thick the New Zealand accent is, and how completely different I sound. I don't notice it with friends and family members, because I know their voices so well - but when walking down the street I can hear it very clearly. I can indeed hear my own accent, and I am very aware that I do not sound like those others around me. Just the other I met a family of South Africans who have lived in NZ for 7 years, and they were astounded that I was a New Zealander.
