To start off, you could donate both your eyes and left kidney to a dying child and people would still hate on you.But to practically answer your question:People are jealous (cliché but true)Media makes Harry seem like a womaniser and a spoilt brat but in reality Harry is a genuine, kind and dorky guy.People think or rather assume all massive celebrities or artists in particular, who have a younger (12–20) audience, are rude and untalented twats (which can be true in SOME cases)

You know, FOR ME he is the least attractive in One Direction. But my friends are all going crazy for him and i'm just like " cool. Zayn's existing. " I cant really see him attractive but his voice is good and sexy. but physically, uhmmm. Could you state here your reasons why you love him except for " he's cute. Harry Styles has some very good friends in the uk music industry one of which Nick Grimshaw radio DJ is very gay and thats probsbly where the roumer springs from, secondly Harry like many young people in uk goes with his friends to famous London night clubs including gay ones such as G.A.Y that is probably another reason for the gay accusation.(Harry Styles must be gay if he goes to gay clubs in London) There is a disconnect here between gay culture in UK and the States, here trendy young straight people associate far more with gays and the people in the gay bars and clubs are often very mixed straight and gay ( seen myself in the gay clubs in Canal Street Manchester) which I dont believe happens to such an extent in USA where often the straight young community won't associate with gay peoply socially.

I know one direction are a pretty popular boyband, but I don't understand why everyone is so crazy about the guys, especially Harry Styles, his face isn't that nice it's pretty normal looking, and he doesn't have a nice body either. It's not even like his personality is brilliant, he seems pretty vanilla. I get how guys like Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt are seen as reallyhandsome, because they have beautiful faces and great bodies, and that even if they weren't famous people would still think they were hot if they saw them in the street. But it seems like Harry Styles is only attractive because he's in One direction? I don't think anyone would wanted to have date him if he was working in a Mcdonalds somewhere, they wouldn't look twice

It's not that he was bad, it's that when theirs new talent anyone will critsise them, many of the girls i know now who "hated" one direction now love them and yes its annoying but they just hate him thats it. Have you ever just hated something. Yeah its basically that they dont take in to account how hard everything must be. They just pick on the little things and Harry was probably dissapointed in himself too and they just made him feel worse, just because they can.
