Will Braxton Miller Return A Qb Next Season

Why did Braxton miller change position and number?

Braxton Miller got hurt and did not play last season. He was replaced by J.T. Barrett, who did a fantastic job, until he got injured. Then a 3rd QB surfaced, Cardale Jones, who led Ohio State to win the Championship last season.

Now Ohio State is loaded at QB, so Braxton switched positions to become a WR, yet still able to run a few trick plays at QB.

Here is a direct quote from Braxton on why he changed his jersey number.
“I just want to make a new beginning, a new era for myself,” Miller told ESPN.com's Austin Ward. “Rocking No. 1, I feel like this is me now. One and only.”

What is Brock Osweiler's future in the NFL after losing the Texans’ starting QB job?

It depends on how Tom Savage does. If Savage comes out this week and throws 4 interceptions and finishes with a completion percentage of 35%, Osweiler will probably get his job back and will likely retain it for the rest of the season and the next if the Texans don't address their QB situation in the offseason. Now, that scenario probably won't happen. Savage seems capable enough to keep the job. My guess is Brock Osweiler will stay benched for the rest of the season and he will either enter next season as the Texans’ backup or he will be traded to the Browns or Jets, also known as QB purgatory. Although some better teams like the Cardinals could be in the market for a QB next season. That's not to say he can't play well there, or wherever he goes. But I think it's clear right now that he benefited a lot from playing in Gary Kubiak’s system last year in Denver. People underestimate Kubiak’s ability to make QBs look good. Remember how good Matt Schaub looked for like two years? Joe Flacco looked really good under Kubiak’s system when he was the OC in Baltimore. Osweiler can play well in the right system with the right amount of responsibility. And that right amount isn't that much. He's best off playing on a team with a really good defense and when he is asked to only score around 14–21 points a game.At the absolute best, maybe he could be like Ryan Fitzpatrick from last year. Plays really well but we all still expect it to sour (as it did this year). At worst, he is the new Jay Cutler. Just, not as naturally talented as Jay. Say what you want about Jay Cutler, but you can't deny the man’s talent. Even if it doesn't show up on the field.

2011 NFL Season: Will Tim Tebow be a successful NFL QB?

Yes but only if he works his ass off and it might take 3 years or more.I dont think one can answer this question with "detailed/in-depth analysis" because he's only been in the NFL for 3 games. Ie, theres essentially no data. Further he played in all meaningless games against 2 teams who were already out of the playoff race IIRC. So anything you can ascertain from the stats of these games will be more meaningless than Ron Rivera saying that the Panthers will win 10 games this season. The faults that the media have pointed out with Tebow are:Loopy Delivery Mechanism. A loopy delivery implies that his arm covers an area larger than most other QBs do when throwing the ball and that his release is very slow. Both of these are killers for a QB in the NFL where pass rushers are on you within 5 seconds. Do you know any successful QB in the NFL with a loopy delivery? No I didnt think so.He thinks he can run downhill with ball and stay healthy: The only NFL QBs who run the ball and stay healthy are the ones that are fast and (to use a technical term) shifty. Tebow is neither. He will get killed if he keeps thinking he can run downhill on a NFL defense.Cant read defenses.Tebows main strong points are that he is a hard worker, he knows how to persevere and he is a leader.  And thats why I feel he has a chance. All of the above points IMHO can be fixed. It requires a great quarterback coach to help him out and a ton of practice but I think its possible. Studying the defense is really just study. I think this will be the easiest of the three to overcome. I read a paper which equated studying to be a QB in the NFL to a 4 years Bachelors course. I think he'll have this part down. Not being tempted to run the ball will take more time because its his instinct from 4 years of college. That will be more difficult. The greatest problem is the very mechanics of him throwing the ball. This will take a few seasons I believe to completely fix if ever. In crunch situations I think this loopy throw will keep making an appearance. The hype on this guy says that he feeds off adversity. If thats really true he'll be successful.

How many of the first 5 games will Ohio State win next year?

uhm are u mentally challenged??? They play miami, and michigan state. And when they get back there first game is against nebraska in Nebraska. also colorodo shouldnt go unlooked they play colorodo too. i think they will win 4. they will beat one of the big games. miami or Mich state.

Y, high school senior, and next year fresh. Qb for OSU Braxton Miller. I watched him play in the state championship this game and he is a future all american. He already has better accuracy than pryor, and also has great speed, and is big tough to tackle. Also THe ohio state running back depth is 2nd in nation behind bama right now. They have RS freshman roderick smith, jamaal berry whos ether a soph, or junior next year, and jordan hall. hall, and berry i believe will be juniors next year, both recruited out of florida and have goood spped. Roderick smith has speed and size. THe defense will be dominant as always. And wide recievers, the buckeyes always have great depth at wide out, but without posey for 5 games, and sanzenbacher to draft. The bucks will be lacking a big play reciever,, and this is were they will be hurt.

Before this game many buckeye fans and reporters in the area know of how good braxton miller is, and some think if miller plays above his age, and just comes out as good as he was in high school that he would start even when pryor comes back. But knowing tressell he will be loyal as he should and give the ball back to number 2 when hes back.
Could go 4-1, possibly 5-0

Will pryor start at all for ohio state this year?

I think Pryor is a fine pickup, but one player does not lead a team to the National Championship. I really believe Ohio State has the talent to make it to a championship game, because the Big Ten is down, but lets be real, they do not have the speed, at least not yet, to play with the big boys. They really remind me of Nebraska in the very early nineties and late eighties before the championships. They are slow on defense and the line is slow. The reality is that Ohio State is on track to make a major impact in the near future.

What happens to the college football athletes who did not make the NFL?

According to the NCAA 98.3% of college football players don’t make it to the NFL.However there are college football players and then there are college football players. (To be fair the college is important and so is the city where the team is located.)Case in point—Kenny Guiton who played quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio. Guiton was the backup to Braxton Miller, and in his senior year, 2012, he played a key role in keeping the Buckeyes undefeated—including a miraculous win over Purdue. However the NFL wasn’t interested in Guiton. Coach Meyer pulled some strings and got him invited to a Buffalo Bills camp, but to no avail.Kenny, with the help of his former QB coach, Tom Herman, went into coaching. He is now coaching wide receivers at the University of Houston. If Guiton had ended up in Columbus, Ohio, he would have landed on his feet career-wise with the added benefit that he would have NEVER had to pay for a drink in any bar in town.Go Bucks!

What challenges will OSU face by having three proven starting QB's on the team at the same time, and how will they handle this in the 2015 College Football season?

I believe Urban Meyer will give the job to the most deserving candidate. I believe that will be Braxton Miller. Miller will play and probably have a good season and elect to go pro. The next year should be Cardale's year to shine in what will also be his senior year. Then, Barrett can play out his senior year the following year. You never know I guess. They all seem like pro prospects, so it's hard to say if there is really a wrong choice. But I'm not buying the hype around Cardale Jones that he is already better than Miller. I will say he is better than Barrett, sure, but I think Miller is more proven. We saw a great, yet very small, sample size from Jones so it's hard to say if he truly is the next great QB. He has a rocket arm and if he works hard enough I believe he can be at least as impactful as Cam Newton in the NFL. No one can be as impactful as Cam in college at Auburn, but in the NFL, Cam is still relatively unproven. I believe Jones has a better arm than Cam, but it's hard to say who is better as a runner. I would still lean towards Cam. Braxton Miller is the safest bet. I just fear, as an OSU fan, that if he plays poorly, fans will be calling for Jones or Barrett. That isn't fair to him. But then again, this is football and football isn't a game that's fair.

Who will win the 2015-2016 Heisman Trophy?

It's such a wacky season with no clear favorite, so I think it will be the player with the best stats, not the best player on the #1 team, as tradition usually says. Right now that is Leonard Fournette from the LSU Tigers, but who knows what will happen once they start stacking the box in SEC play. If The Ohio State University has a breakaway second half of the year, I wouldn't be surprised if it's their running back Elliott or even Braxton Miller if he makes some plays. I like the way Texas Christian University is playing, and their QB Boykin is a stud.
