Will eating a lot of uncooked rice hurt my dog?
I would call the vet for advice. Rice SWELLS up tremendously when water or liquid is ADDED. The uncooked rice will SWELL UP in the dog's stomach & may cause it to develop a condition called "bloat" aka torsion/volvous (which can be fatal).

It's all good, dogs can have any food you give them as long as it's in moderation. if you want to go to extremes you should never give your dog chocolate, unions, garbage, uncooked meat, corn syrup, baby formula, corn products, anything with dextrose, corn syrup, food starch, or caramel coloring and of coarse human medications

Yes, do you need to worry and take your dog to the vet NOW. UNCOOKED rice will swell in the stomach and 3 cups of uncooked rice is a massive amount. If it was cooked rice then I wouldn't panic but the dog would get no more food for 24 hours to give the digestive system time to cope with it. If this was my dog I would consider it to be an emergency situation and would have gone to the vets as soon as I knew she had eaten it.
