Will Formatting My 3ds Delete Everything

Say I reset my Nintendo 3ds (I didn't delete anything from the SD) and sold it off, but I kept the SD card, will I be able to use that SD card onto a new 2DS XL?

Yes, but you’d only be able to use the SD card itself, none of the original data would be usable (or even readable) by the new console.Data written by any 3DS console into the “Nintendo 3DS” folder is encrypted so that only the console which wrote that data can read it, formatting changes the encryption so not even the original console could read it, much less anyone else. There is one possible way to transfer such data, either by not selling your old console until you have a New 2DS XL, perform a system transfer from your old to your new console, then sell the old one.

How can I recover deleted photos without an SD card?

You can recover deleted photos from SD card. However, if your SD card is lost, you may not be able to retrieve back photos. Unless you have backup of your photos. How do I deactive my nintendo network ID and create a new one but keep everything from the deactivated NNID to the new created NNID for 3DS?

So I just want to delete all my posts on miiverse and create a new account on miiverse with a different nintendo network ID. But I dont want to delete everything like all of my games or anyone on my friends list. I heard that you could deactive the current NNID and create a new one but I want to still keep all of the games and saved data on my 3DS and also keep my friends list. Is that possible? Because to deactive a NNID it requires you to format the system but doesnt formatting delete everything on the 3DS?

3DS - Format SD Card?

So I recently bought a 3DS and I wanted to put Music on it. I took out the SD card and placed it in my computer. It said I have to format the disk before I could use it. On my format settings I have:
Capacity: Unknown (O_o)
File System: FAT (Default)
Allocation Unit Size: Default Allocation size
Volume Label: Blank
Quick Format is checked
And then I click START. It then says "Windows in unable to complete the format"
WHAT DO I DO?

Why aren't things being saved to my SD card?

I have a Kyocera Hydro Edge with 4gb internal memory. I have a 16gb SD card loaded in. When I first ever put the card in, I formatted it to be compatible and such.
Well, a lot of the apps and everything won't go to the SD card so I'm forced to delete other apps to free up, apparently, my internal memory for updates and crap.
Any idea how to fix this? I have the Clean Master and frequently "clean" my phone. I also move every app that will move to the SD card.
I had a Kyocera Rise with the same SD card and none of this happened.
Help please!
