Will I Be Able To Run Battlefield 4 Without It Dropping 60 Fps

If my computer runs wow at 110 fps ultra, can it run battlefield 3 at 60 fps ultra?

no it will not, completely different game category, and please look at the release dates. WOW is kind of old already, targeted at all computers, even low end to be able to run it. BF3 is different - need some serious firepower to run it on max. like this:

Why is battlefield 1 stuttering?

System specs:
CPU i7 5820k 3.3 ghz
GPU Asus strix gtx 980 4gb
RAM 8gb ddr4 (plan to get 8 more gigs)
Mobo MSI X99s SLI plus

According to people i should be able to run it in 60 or more fps but i always stutter and get fps drops and/or lag. Will 16gb RAM make the diff?

What would be my expected FPS in Battlefield 4 and Arma 3?

hi ryan
its quite difficult to predict a expected frame rate even with specification in front of you... however with the quad core A8-5600K and the GTX660ti your looking at around 40fps with battlefield and around 50fps with arma 3
but these frame rates also depend on the resolution you will be running the games at .... for example the above frame rates are calculated at 1920x1080.. however if your monitor has a native resolution of 1440x900 then you can expect higher frame rates ( between 45fps and 55fps )
and lets not forget the human eye finds it hard to notice a frame rate above 30 frames per second so above that you will experience smooth gameplay anyway ... however its a drops in frame rates which are the real problem .... its great if you can achieve a 30+ frame rate but if your minimum fps drops below 15fps then this will appear as lag/stuttering which is the biggest annoyance of pc gamers
so for performance sake you should try to achieve 30fps (25fps minimum ) as your "minimum" frame rate limit... then this will ensure your complete gaming experience is "lag free "
in summary battlefield and arma 3 are relatively demanding but your cpu,ram and graphics card should have no problems dealing with this .... and my advice is start from the bottom and work up
so ( in conjunction with "fraps") set everything to low and then taper your ingame video settings up a bit at a time..then after each change check your frame rate ensuring its not dropping below that 25fps minimum requirement .... if at any time it does then revert to the previous best setting(s) and that's your specific ingame video settings (note : you can lower your resolution and start this again, however lowering resolution will result in the game looking rougher around the egdes .. so try to avoid going below 1440x900 )
I hope this helps ryan ... any questions let me know
good luck mate !

Since switching to PC. Highly sensitive to FPS drops.?

Switched to PC in Jan 2014. Just wondering if anyone else here has become more sensitive to FPS drops like i have. I recently started to play FFXIII on the 360 since the PC port random droping of FPS was bugging the hell out of me despite having a GTX 770. However i started up FFXIII and notice the FPS in certain areas was all over the place it was borderline unplayable in those areas. I never noticed that when i played the game before getting a PC. Almost any game i play on PC has to be at 60

How can I get better FPS in Fortnite Battle Royale?

Hello,It might be difficult to judge what the problem might be without looking at your PC specs. For reference, below are the system requirements of the game.Fortnite Recommended system requirements are as followsNvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 equivalent DX11 GPU2 GB VRAMCore i5 2.8 Ghz8 GB RAMWindows 7/8/10 64-bitThere are a few ways by which you can increase your FPSTry Running The Game on High Priority - Go to task manager, right click on the Fortnite.exe file and set the priority to high.Close All Memory Eating Apps such as Chrome and the Epic Launcher itself after starting the game so you have good enough RAM left to run the game.Go to your Game settings and lower down the settings that will help a lot and increase your FPS.Download Optimized game files from here. This should be enough to increase your FPS by a little bit or make the game atleast playable. But again as I said, it might be the hardware that your game is running on.

Video card problem: NVIDIA geforce gt 630 (fps problem)?

Hello guys!

I'd like to ask why i don't have around 100 fps in tf2 with this pc:

cpu: Intel e5300 dual core 2.6 GHz
gpu: nvidia geforce gt 630
4 gb of ram
WIndows 7

i've just bought the card and i thought that i'll easily run games like that, but not.. And also in counter-strike 1.6 sometimes the fps drops to 60, and i can't imagine why. Maybe i have to do something with the card settings?(vsync is off already) Please help me!
