Will I Eventually Get Abs If I Do 30 Minutes Of Ab Workouts Per Day

30 minutes a day of ab workout, how long...?

until I'll see results, I've been doing it almost a week. I do 15 minutes in the morning, and 15 a few hours before I sleep. I also walk for 30-45 minutes everyday. I do as many push-ups as I can (I'm terrible at push-ups, but I just got to 35 today :D was 20, three days ago ^^).

What other things could keep me more in shape other than sports (I asked that question before, I got break dancing and swimming which I'd love to do (something inexpensive as well)?

Your abs are already there. Yes, your ab routine will assist you, but just doing cardio with that and good eating habits will do it also. If you want abs, and I know you do, you cannot eat fast food or deserts. They are gone for you now. It's not a "diet", it's just the way to accomplish your goal.

Tell you what I did. I'm 6' was 192#, 38" waist. Now I'm same height of course, 154#, 31" waist. It took 5 months of hard work, but I made it fun. Used to wear lose jeans, now I wear 514's and I know you know what those are. I'm three times your age and I'll just tell you that I'm glad you are interested in yourself.

I was at Thanksgiving and two of the boys made a bet. One is 19 the other is 27. They bet who could do the most. I'm about twice their age so I said, "I'll bet I can do three times what you both can together. We hit the deck and the 19 year old did 6, his brother did 7. I stopped at 40 since I had already beaten them.

You do what you think is right and what works for you. Protien drinks help a lot if you're doing all those situps. It helps in muscle recovery. Chocolate milk is a good one also, and I'm not joking. My profile pic is me now and I'm proud of it at 50. You'll look better since you're starting off earlier than I did. Well, your tan line might not be as good, but...

What are some good 20-30 minute daily workouts?

Variety of exercise is the key I have found. For example..an exercise called Mountain Climbers. Its from a workout that also contains a section for females and males which is excellent.

Mountain climbers are done by starting in a pushup position
and then shuffling your feet in and out so that your knees are
moving in under your chest and then back out to starting
position. It sort of resembles climbing a mountain but flat on
the floor. If you want an advanced version, you can also shuffle your hands 8-10 inches forward and backward in
addition to the leg movements. This really makes it a full
body exercise and MUCH more difficult than standard mountain climbers.

After finishing each exercise, rest about 30 seconds before
starting the next exercise. Rest about 1-2 minutes after
completing each "tri-set" before repeating.

This will give you one of the best ab workouts you've ever had
without even doing any direct ab exercises. You'll see what I
mean after you try it!

Once you get away from the myth that a 1000 crunches and 500 situps a day is all you need to do for great abs, then amazing results can be seen.

Will doing 30 minutes of HIIT a few times a week help me tone my stomache?

Losing body fat and having a toned stomach is a function of several factors:  diet, cardio, age, weight lifting and overall lifestyle.  If all you are doing is HIIT 2 to 3 times a week, and not paying attention to your diet and / or doing lower intensity cardio, then the answer is no - you will not lose that much body fat.  Plus you increase the likelihood of injuring yourself if you are a beginner to HIIT.  The key to a flat stomach is to combine HIIT (glycogen depleting activity) with low intensity cardio (fat - burning activity) WITH a low calorie / high protein diet.  I can't emphasize the latter part enough. What this means is that you need to do HIIT (15-20 min) to burn off the carbs in your stomach and glycogen stores, then move to lower intensity cardio to start burning fat (30 - 45 min).  Following exercise, your body will continue to burn fat because of your elevated metabolism and low carb levels. Hope this helps.

Lily, you are not fat! I do 30 sit-ups like an hour or so before every meal. I used to do 30 only before dinner like 2 months ago, but I have seen my weight loss & energy boost, so I get as most workouts I can in the day. But, that does not allow you to copy my methods.
