Skinny jeans aren't for everyone. But I think it's more to do with proportion rather than weight or size. Skinny jeans flatter well-proportioned girls (ie girls with legs that are long compared to their torsos, girls with hips that aren't much wider than their chests, etc), not necessarily stick skinny girls. Also, I think skinnies look better on girls with some shape or muscle tone to their legs rather than rail thin ones. Then it's important to get a well-cut, well-fitting pair. Pay atention to details: dark washes and clean designs are universally flattering, smaller back pockets make your butt look perkier, etc. If you have wider hips you could still pull off skinnies by wearing jeans that tend towards being straight rather than skinny, with about a 14" hem. It'll balance out the silhouette. Also, a bit of bunching if done right at the ankle will have the same effect.

I'm a Woman that own Several pairs of Loafers to the Boots. I Love Sperry's with Skinnies. Male or Female. For Males, Just keep it Neutral and Simple. Don't Go Overboard with Colors. If You have that Many Colored Skinnies, Then go for the Dark Brown Leather, Beige/Khaki Suede, or Black Leather/Suede. Just be Careful of the Color Rub Off from Your Skinnies to Shoes if You choose the Beige.. Gray Does Not Go with Everything. These are All Neutral and You can Pull off Any Look.. Good Dressings..
Why do i look so fat in skinny jeans?
I am 5'9" and weigh 128 lbs and i wear a size 3 so i am somewhat thin but my legs look so fat when i wear skinny jeans. my legs look fine when i just wear shorts so i don't see how jeans would be different. i have friends that are shorter then me and two sizes bigger that look good in skinny jeans. why can some people not pull them off?

well just try on different brands until you find one you like. from what your describing it sounds like its the jeans. not you. just shop around. LEVIS makes a great pair of skinnies that last for a long time! ive had mine for three years! not one hole! hope this helps. --Nick
