Will I Lose My Multiplayer Progress On Bf4 By Making A New Psn Account

Can you play online PS4 without a PS Plus?

Very few games offer online without Ps Plus. The biggest free online game would be Fortnite. There are many other smaller ones but are mainly pay to win.

I play on the computer. Recently, I bought a PS4 and I tried an FPS game. On the computer I am very good but on the console I can't even aim. What should I do to get better?

Practice.Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice! On the PC, you are used to using refined movements of the hand to control where your in-game character looks. It has become native to you that if you want to look up, push your hand up. If you want to look down, pull your hand down. You've done it so much that it is just natural. You don't even think about it. Now you are trying to mimic all of that with your thumbs. It is not natural for you. If you push your hand up on the PS4 to look up, all that will happen is your controller will move up. You need to re-wire your brain to work with the thumbs instead of the hands.First off, you mentioned you are playing a FPS game. Start by going through the entire campaign. Then see if you can join some sort of lobby by yourself so that you can shoot at some inanimate objects. Practice doing a perfect 180 turn on the spot. Pretend an enemy is flanking left. How do you proceed? Oh no, a grenade lands in front of you! Quick! Back it up to avoid the explosion! Now shoot the target peeking on the left! All of the targets may be inanimate props and the grenade might be imaginary, but soon you'll be a natural on the PS4 controls! Then go into a multiplayer match. Start by taking it slow. Pick a weapon that you can use at a farther range and move slowly. At farther ranges, less thumb-motion is required. Slowly decrease the range of your weapon until you find yourself run-and-gunning. If you find that you are running into trouble, increase your shooting range again. Before you know it, you will have wired your brain to use a thumb-stick as smoothly as using a mouse! And don't worry, your brain is smart. It remembers how to use a mouse still, so you won't have much trouble switching back over. Good luck!

What video games can't you wait to be released from now until the end of 2018, and why?

Cyberpunk 2077I’m aware that’s it’s probably not going to release in this year still, but honestly. It’s the only upcoming game that I’m excited about.Made by the same people that brought us The Witcher series, it carries a lot of promise. It seems to be a mix between GTA style “do what you want” free roaming, Dragon Age: Origins style “pick your story” and Division like “Augmented reality interface” set in a slightly dystopian future. If they can put the same type of dedication into the game as they did for The Witcher 3, then this game will become quite iconic very soon after release. As for other big names coming up:I got disillusioned by the assassin’s creed franchise (even though I used to be a MASSIVE fan), and as such, even though AC: Odyssey looks amazing. I don’t know if I’ll ever pick it up. I haven’t even played origins yet. And yes I know that Origins has redeemed the franchise for a lot of people, but I’m not one of them. (yet!)And when it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2… Well. I haven’t played the first one. Which makes it hard to fall into the hype for the second one. (A few of my friends are quite committed to changing this though…) I won’t deny that it looks quite interesting, and even though I’m not especially hyped for this one. I might pick it up.I’ve always been a Battlefield fan and I still regularly play BF4. Even though I really enjoyed BF1’s campaign, I’ve always found the multiplayer to be too messy and unreliable. It’s a great game and I feel like they did a lot of things right, but those things are not things that are translatable to multiplayer. Unfortunately, it seems like BF5 is falling into the same trap. Some of my friends that have played the beta, said it feels like they were playing BF1. So even though I’m a big fan, I’m probably not going to get this one. The price tags have also climbed almost exponentially since BF4, making it a hard choice. Lastly, it’s also not worth getting it if none of my friends are getting it. Playing battlefield alone is not fun.And finally, Call of Duty: Blackops 4. What can I say? The last COD game I was excited about was Ghosts. Which ended up being a disaster. COD has become a recycle bin. Every game feels like a DLC for the previous one and for me, the price tags just don’t justify me buying them if that’s how they make me feel. Thanks for the A2A!

How many lines of code do big games have?

I have worked on some AAA games and have contributed to their source code. These games were mostly on Nintendo DS, DSi, Wii, iOS and Android. I have seen PS3 games' code too, but couldn't get a chance to work on them.I haven't actually counted the lines in any of the source code. But as far as I remember, the source code are not too much huge than a casual game. Of course the older classic games had a huge amount of source code attached to them, but that included the source of the engines too. These days engines handle most of the work. Even UI and fonts have been as easy as just drag and drop without requiring a single line of code. I remember how painful was it to code for a font to appear properly. So if you ask me about classic games, mostly on DS/DSi, they were close to half a million lines of code. But recently the games have been limited to 100–200K lines at max. My last game Hammer, Inc. had close to 10,000 lines of code in the first version. The second version which I am currently working on is currently sitting on 50,000 lines of code and is still incomplete. The AAA games benefit from vast libraries and better game engines though, thus the actual line a developer has to write for that particular game never crosses 100K lines. The choice of programming language also affect the lines. C++ is too verbose and needs a lot of code to do a single thing, while C# is too compact and can do most work in few lines of code. Python on the other hand is completely magic, although I am sure no AAA game has been made in Python.I hope the information was helpful.

Is the PS4 really worth it?

I have a nice gaming rig and a PS4 as well. My outtake is that they both have advantages and personal preference has its role as well. The PS4 pros and consCons: Limited upgrade potential: you can upgrade the hard drive and that's about it.New games generally cost more. You will not be playing games in 4K.You are tethered to Sony and must pay for PS plus if you want to play online or even use some features of games you have already paid for.Pros:Ease of use: hit 1 button and you are playing your game. No game compatibility issues: on the PC sometimes you must find work arounds to get a game to run. Because there are so many different system configurations you may have to wait for a patch or a driver update to play a game you just bought on a PC. You may have to play around in the settings on a PC game to get it to run at all. Plenty of people to play online with at almost any given time: I work swing shift so I find myself playing late or very early. PS network is huge there are people to play with all the time.Social atmosphere is fantastic: you can watch and join games that are being played on twitchtv with 1 click of a button. You can share some of your games with your friends online. Great deals on games that are not brand new: if you don't have to have a game at launch you can normally get it a few months later for a whole lot less.PS plus discounts and freebies: Because you more or less have to have it anyway there are some great benefits to being a PS plus member. You get 2 free games every month and sometimes they are really good games. You get a lot of discounts and dlc for games. You get discounts on movies and TV shows. Game streaming service: You can pay a monthly fee and play many older PS games streamed right to your PS4.Video Streaming: Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, vudu, and many more channels streamed directly to your PS4.Get New Day 1 Games Without Leaving Your Home: You can download all the new games directly to your PS4 without wasting gas or fighting crowds.Surf the web: hook up a keyboard to easily surf the web.PS Vita complements PS4: You can use a Vita as a controller, or you can outright play your game on it, some games will give you additional functionality with the Vita.PS Plus is linked to all of your devices: You only need 1 PS Plus account to receive the benefits on all of your Sony systems and handhelds. You get free games for PS3, PS Vita, and PS4 if you happen to have all 3
