Will This Laptop Be Good Enough To Play The New Games Coming Out In 2014

Is this laptop good fro gaming?

I found this laptop for about $750 which is a fair deal at its specs, it is touch screen, has 1 TB of HDD, 8 GB RAM, and the Graphics card is amazing. My only concern is the processor, it has a mere 1.80 GHz, which is actually pretty bad for a gaming computer.

My questions are:
Is it worth the price?
Is the processor so weak that you can't play games on it?
Is the graphics card good for games like Skyrim, Goat Simulator, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Watch Dogs?

Does it come with any form of Micrsofot Office, and if not, where can i get the one with excel, word, outlook, and onenote, and power point for a fairly cheap price?

Thanks so much, whoever gives the best answer gets a 5 star rating right away.

What are the games I can play on my HP ay005tx laptop?

With your setup-5th gen i3, 4gb ram and a 2gb AMD r5 M430 you should br able to run the games released till 2013 and 2014(with a little graphics quality sacrifice). You might be able to some of 2015 releases. These includesGta 4Gears of warCod( till black ops 1)and some others.

Is laptop with 8gb ram 2gb graphics card is good to play games like far cry 4?

Far Cry 4 is a very demanding game, so for most laptops the answer is no.Now, I say most since there are some high end machine from ASUS, MSI and even Dell that really do provide a high level of performance.  However, those machines generally weigh close to 10 lbs and cost in the range of $1300-2000.  At that price point you would be better off building/buying a desktop machine and a small portable laptop (you could do both and still have $100-200 left over after the fact).  The other big drawback with those high end laptops is that their battery life tends to be awful.  This makes them kind of pointless in my opinion since they won't be as powerful as an equivalent desktop and you still need to plug them in most of the time.

How do I stop my laptop from overheating while playing games without buying any accessories like cooling pads, etc.?

I have tried various methods like undervolting, lowering graphics settings but the method that worked best for me is to lower my maximum processor state setting. I got around 15 degrees Celsius drop with no noticeable drop in performance! I have an i7 7700HQ. Your results might differ depending on the model. Below are the steps for Windows 10 (should be similar for other versions):Right click on battery icon in task bar.Select power options.Select “Change plan settings” for your current active plan.Select “Change advanced power settings”.Scroll down and select “Processor power management”.Change maximum processor state to a value below 100. Check which value gives you the best results. (For me it’s 95%)Change minimum processor state to a value less than your selected maximum value. (Mine is 5%)Make sure system cooling policy is marked as active. And most importantly, do not place your laptop directly over a table or bed. Keep something like cellotape rolls or a book below your laptop. This greatly improves the airflow. Let me know your results in the comments.

Is 2 GB ram/memory in a laptop enough for college?

I wouldn't need it for gaming or watching movies/listening to music, I have my old laptop that I can still use for that. Just need a new, light/smaller laptop with good battery for commuting to manhattan for college

How advisable is it to play heavy games on a non-gaming laptop?

Assuming your laptop has the hardware to run those games without severe issues that would make them unenjoyable anyways, you still should consider that the heat being generated will probably significantly shorten the life of your device. If you have a good dedicated graphics card and decent cooling, as well as the processor power and lots of ram, technically you have a device made for ‘heavy’ activity to begin with. Simply because something isn’t marketed as a gaming laptop doesn’t mean you can’t use it for that. Just know what’s under the hood and see if what you want to run is suited for it.

Is windows XP good for gaming?

I have dell inspiron 15 3521 laptop with:
Core i3-3227U 1.9GHz
Intel HD Graphics Mobile 4400
4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Windows 8.1 preinstalled.
I'm thinking of installing XP also to check that will it boost my games. I play games like Batman AA, Dark Souls 2, COD 4 MW e.t.c. based on the fact that windows 8 is eating 1.6gb of RAM of my computer without very heavy load programs. What do u say?
