I lost my birth control pack what should I do?!?
Yesterday I went to Great America theme park and when it was time to take my pill I couldn't find it in my purse which I kept in a little black bag. It must've fallen out when I put my purse down to go on a ride. I was about a week and a half in to the pack. Luckily when I get a new refill I get three months worth so should I just start my new pack? And by starting a new pack today will that really mess up my period? Also will this really increase my chances of becoming pregnant now? I am sexually active and I'm planning on seeing my boyfriend today so I'm very worried! Please help!

I think the monster was originally a highly advanced security system designed to separate participants in the experimental Dharma hatches. I think it was an effect that was designed to frighten people (smoke, noise) if they strayed too far from their experiment location. (A bit Wizard of Oz like) However, the electromagnetic force has mutated it - in the same sense as Desmond experienced time travel and can now see the future after exposure - and made it malevolent and able to physically grab things in its force (Eko, the Pilot, Locke). So in theory it may be able to be deactivated, if they can find the control room for it (which would be another hatch somewhere yet undetected)
I slide on black ice and used my parking brake to come to an emergency stop. Could this damage my car and is there a better way?
I was driving on local roads this morning before they were salted. There was a very thin layer of black ice coated all over the main roads. So I was driving at 5-8miles an hour, I was coming down a hill and lost control and slid toward parked cars. My brakes failed to stop the car so I popped the parking brake which stopped the car inches from the parked vehicles. When I got home no warning lights came on in my car and it has driven fine now that the ice has melted a bit. I want to know if there is a safer way I could stop the car in an emergency such as this (close call sliding at low speeds) or if this is a good way to do it. I am worried I damaged my brake system some way and know that I could slip again in the future.

The timing crystal can lose its "activity" with time and fail to control the drifting of frequency. this is not an uncommon problem and it is not an expensive repair.
