Will Walmart Hire Me With An Sis

Will Walmart hire you with a DUI misdemeanor on your record?

You be better off to put that on your application/interview because they will find out. Most companies do exhaustive background checks. I am sure Wal-Mart will hire you if you have a DUI; however, if the job itself involves you driving, maybe not. If you lie at an interview or on a job application, it will come back to haunt you. You need not provide details; just put down the month and year and where it happened and whether you were found innocent/guilty and if you paid any fines or went to driving school.

Will Walmart hire me if I have warrants?

Last year I was stopped by a sheriff and was issued two tickets. One for driving without a license and the second one for not having insurance. I didnt go to court because I totally forgot about it (I know that's not a good excuse) and to be honest, I really couldn't afford to miss work.I recently just moved to Midland and I was offered a position at a call center. But I was later on turned down when they found out about this two warrants on my background. I was told to apply at walmart. So I did. Now I'm very scare and worried of getting rejected it again. Can anyone please help? A few people tell me that I should be okay as long as I don't have any theft charges or that sort on my background...but still I worry. Does anyone know if Walmart will hire someone with warrants like me?

Thank you all for your help.

What can I buy at Walmart that will unclog my toilet?

Use a "toilet auger". The flexible portion is about 4 feet long, with a rigid part about 2 feet long, and has a big crank handle. Insert into toilet, turn the handle and push with about 10 pounds of force. Don't push or crank with all your might, you might kink the spring.  Let the tool burrow through , and push the blockage (usually a tampon or wad of toilet paper) through. If you're squeamish, or have tried using chemicals, wear a face shield, gloves, and cover all your skin.  Wear eye protection and keep your mouth shut, or wear a mask. Don't worry though, any splatter is usually tiny if you're being gentle.  I don't recommend using chemicals, they can eat your pipes, the finish on the toilet, and eat the seal between toilet and pipe.If the auger doesn't get it done, the blockage may be farther down the pipe, in which case you'll need a drain snake. Similar but are smaller diameter and about 20-30 feet long. Or call a plumber. Negotiate a very fair price, and imply you may hire an honest tradesperson in the future.  This often helps get a fair price on this (hopefully) easy job.

Would i be aloud to have facial piercings while working at walmart, smiths, or target, or a fast food place?

i turned 15 last month and i am very eager to receive a job because it would be nice to have an early job.. and when i get the job i was told i could get my snake bites and im trying to apply to jobs that are rather close to my home which in this case would be walmart, smiths, mc donalds, carls jr, jack in the box, and subway. so im very and i was also told that most jobs are ALL about how their employees look and dress so im wondering if i would be able to have facial piercings and the place i will be working at wont mind the fact that i will have facial piercings. help??

Will a retail place hire me if I have a misdemeanor on my record?

Depending when and what it was and what has been your behaviour ever since. If you learned the lesson from that I would hire you.

Is it easy to get a job at Walmart?

Yes. They are always losing people because they are always hiring at least a few people who are going to quickly move onto something better, and a few who drink little too much (on and off the job), don't know how to show up to work on time, or like to smoke weed during the day at work in the parking lot.My son has been working at a local Wal-Mart Super Center since October 2015. He met an assistant manager, inquired about job openings the guy said not now, come back in a few days. He did. The manager said, maybe few more days. My son went back again. Then the guy said maybe a week or two. My son returned in a week. He got the job.Wal-Mart gave all their employees, including my son, a dollar raise to $10 in 2015, at least here, upon completion of a test.My son has also said they also match people's 401K contributions, they have a little known fund to help employees out in emergencies, and the few times when my son thought something was out of order with supervisors or co-workers that he couldn't solve alone and that wasn't going away, upper management was approachable and acted to quickly resolve the issue. My son's job requires him to walk about five to six miles a day in the store. The first paycheck totally went to a high-quality boot with a steel toe, a purchase he has not regretted once. If you get a job there, please remember to protect your feet, ankles, knees and hips. Those concrete floors are rough!

Is it a policy of Walmart, that relatives may not be hired at the same store?

It is the policy of MOST companies not to hire relatives. It is called nepotism and it always ends BADLY.

Is a cashier job hard?

No. Im a cashier and i hate it. Sorry if i sound like a 3 year old but i hate standing in one place for hours especially with few breaks in between customers. Imagine standing there with three customers in line. You finish two, look up and theres five more. Finish five, get ready to stretch your legs and arms but another customer suddenly, and i mean suddenly, arrives. You try to block out your vision that sees more and more finding your line. A customer sees theres only one at your line so they come over, and then the line builds again without any time to stretch or pause since you have to bag the items yourself, process the payment and repeat for the next customer. Its hell. Standing in one place doing that actually makes your muscles ache, believe me. My first few days were around christmas so i had plenty customers. Two days in i had a terrible cramp in my shoulder from reaching to grab an item and reaching to place it in a bag. Then i had a register with a broken conveyor belt. You tell the customer to move their items to the front but they have to much to place all at the front so you have to reach over. That gave me leg cramps. You should be a stocker. You get to move around, no confinement. Theres labor but theres ways around doing the labor without getting cramps. And you get to converse with your coworkers. As a cashier, customers are priority. When i started, i tried to get friendly with my fellow cashiers but there would always be a customer showing up so i would cut off midsentence to do my job. When, my line is empty, my supervisors make sure i stand in the open and call customers who are ready over. They discourage wasting time doing nothing, so making friends as a cashier is hard unless you know the people outside of work. I can think of many hard labor jobs i find more appealing than being a casier. Sorry for the long winded answer but this is why i think being a cashier is hard.
