Windows 8.1 Takes A Lot Of Time To Install

ITunes not installing on Windows 8.1?

I have tried multiple times to install the latest version of iTunes (12.1.2, 64 Bit) on my Laptop running Windows 8.1 (with Bing). Everytime it doesn't work and it said 'To find a version for your PC, check with the software published.' Any Help?

Would it be best to just clean install my Windows 7 then install Windows 10, or just upgrade to Windows 10?

Upgrading can be easier, and can also work quite well; but depending on your system it can introduce issues.I would try the upgrade first. If it works for you, you just saved a heap of time and effort. If it doesn't, you still will have acquired a digital license for Windows 10 in the process, (assuming Windows 10 activation is successful) which is linked to your PC. So then, download the Windows 10 installation media creation tool from Microsoft and use it to create an installation disk. Just be mindful to grab the correct version (home or professional). You'll then be able to do a clean install of Windows 10 without a product key. Simply skip entering one when prompted, and Windows 10 will eventually activate again using your digital license.

Can I install FrontPage 2000 in Windows 8.1?

I'm sure you'll get a kick out of this one. I use a website on rare occasions, and I have been maintaining it with Front Page 2000. I just got a new PC with Windows 8.1. I got an error during installation. See image below. I rec'd messages similar to that 3 times.

I presume it's missing some files that earlier versions of Windows had but 8.1 does not (I think I did run this successfully on a Windows 8 PC, but that broke and the replaced it with one with 8.1).

Is there a quick fix to get this running again. I do want to maintain the site, but don't want to put a lot of effort or expense into software.

Is there a cheap or inexpensive alternative to FrontPage? I saw a free Dreamweaver package from Adobe. Would that be good?

I know I should probably be looking at other alternatives, but I'm an old dog not eager to learn new tricks.

Screen resolution messed up when I installed windows 8.1?

I just installed windows 8.1 on my brand new asus laptop. The screen resolution is horrible. I tried everything, checked 'let me choose on scaling level for all my displays', updated the Intel HD Graphics driver since it was clearly not up to date (although Windows would say it was). No matter what I do, it seems to me everything looks smaller, shrinked, if that makes any sense. I've run out of ideas, if anyone had this issue I'd appreciate a solution. Thanks.
