Old emails are missing in my Yahoo Mail's inbox?
The only messages appearing in my yahoo mail inbox are from this year and last year, but there should be a lot more since I have been a customer for 10 years. But the old messages are not deleted, since I can still access them from the folders when they are in a folder. Example: the oldest message in my inbox is from 2009. But in folders I have messages from 2001.

You won't have lost any emails. Yahoo are doing some maintenance work. All should be back to normal Saturday about midday.
My Yahoo Mail account got deactivated without my permission. How do I recover my lost messages and folders?
My Yahoo Plus e-mail was also deactivated without my permission. After several tries to get a live person on the phone, I was finally able to get an agent who confirmed that I was NOT hacked, but that this is a technical issue and their higher level support engineers are working on the problem. I asked how or when would I know if they can fix the problem and the answer was that there is no phone # to call...just wait since they will possibly send an e-mail to me if the issue is solved. I can't believe a communications company like YAHOO has such poor communication and customer service. I hope I get my e-mails back or I am definitely going to invest considerable time spreading the word in the media about my experience.
Is there any way to restore popped mail back to the server?
Yeah, I should have known better but I set up a new computer to pop my Yahoo mailbox to Outlook 2003 and forgot the little checkmark that says to keep a copy on the server when you pop. So is there any way to "unpop" or restore my popped mail back to the Yahoo server other than forwarding it to myself, which will of course will change the date and the sender of the email? I have seen generic instructions on how to do this but it only works with IMAP servers, not pop servers.
Why does my yahoo inbox keep spontaneously deleting itslef?
This is the most annoying thing because now I've lost all of my messages and some of them were from my school and were really important. Guess I should be keeping backup copies, but who would have thought that they would disappear. This is the third time that it's happened, and I really want it to stop. (Oh I haven't exceeded my limit on the e-mail either)
