Working But Not Technically Being Paid Legal

How is porn technically legal?

I'm not saying I'm against porn or anything, but I'm wondering how it's legal. The definition of prostitution is being payed to have sex, and in porn, people are being payed to have sex. How is it allowed in the law?

If I am a part time employee, can my job legally make me work 40+ hours a week?

I work for a large supermarket chain. The store is brand new, so I trained at another store for a month until it opened. When I was hired, they COMPLETELY FAILED to mention that this new store is open 24/7. I am hired as a part time employee and I am 18 years old. However, this week, I worked 41.5 hours. I have already deducted breaks from this. I am NOT recieving any full time benefits. I noticed that next week, I'm working only 20 hours, which is fine. I'm not going to say anything this time, but if this happens again, I will.

How is this legal? They technically have me working full time, when I was specifically hired for part time. They are not giving me full time benefits and still consider me part time.

Is it illegal to pay someone to hangout with you, in a non sexual expense, even if you end up having sex?

i saw a show on tv of a girl saying guys would pay for her time, but not for sex, but most often she would end up having sex anyways saying it wasnt involuntary but a choice she and and the man decides after meeting eachother. is that illegal?

and also should she have to be in a business or a license for a business to do this also?

What Is The Legal Age To Be Paying Rent At?

Technically your mate is right...however, at 16 you are also not legally entitled to own anything, like your own paycheck. Which means your parents can not only require you to work, but also not allow you to keep the money you earn. By the way, do you have a video game system? IPOD? Television? Bed? Breakfast, lunch, dinner?
Who pays for all of that?

If OSHA closes down where i work, will i still get paid?

i work at a small pharmaceutical company. there are some obvious work hazards that i think OSHA and the FDA would not approve of. if either the FDA or OSHA come to my place of work, does an inspection, and determines that the company must shut down temporarily to clean up/ fix the problems, will i still get paid by my business? or is it up to the business whether or not they will pay their employees while temporarily shut down?
