How do I dye my dark brown hair to dark purple?
First step is if you want a color that is vibrant, to bleach it to at least a lighter shade of brown. The lighter your canvas is the better.Second step is to choose a dye that you think would be a good fit; for looong lastning I would go for Elumen VV:all for a darker purple, RV:all for a pink-purple or if you want to have a color that will fade faster I would go with any Pravana vivids dye. They have a large range of beautiful purples.Apply dye evenly on dry, clean hair, rinse with as cold water you can manage for best result!Good luck!
Purple Hair or Red Hair?
So I've asked this question a lot, but I really cannot decide between purple hair and red hair. I've heard good and bad things about red hair (bad being it fades quickly and is hard to keep up with). So, here's my questions! 1. I have pale-ish skin and green eyes. Which color do you think would suit me the best? 2. Is it true that red hair fades quickly and is hard to keep up with? If so, in how many months or weeks did it start to fade? 3. Does red hair fade to any orangey color? 4. Is purple hair hard to keep up with/fade quickly? And 5. Does purple hair fade to a lighter color of purple (such as lilac or a lavender color? Which I wouldn't mind really, haha)? If I were doing red, I wanted to go for a brighter red, as I've already had darker red. If I were to do purple, I wanted to go for a medium color (not to dark that it looks black, but not to bright like its going to look neon or be really in your face). But I really want other opinions! Do people look good with purple hair streaks?
I think so. I'm quite a fan of them.Of course, I might be biased; I met one of my girlfriends in 2001, and she had a purple streak in her hair back then. (She doesn't now.) We've been together for 13 years now and I'm still madly in love with her, and one of my favorite pictures of her features that purple streak. :)So yes, I have a soft spot for purple streaks.
Would i look good with red velvet hair?
I have natural light brown hair with dark brown eyes, brown eyebrows and dimples. I was wanting to dye my hair dirty blonde awhile ago but i thought a darker color would look better with my eyes so i thought red velvet hair would be unique and beautiful color to have but i wanna know if i could pull it off or if people would think I'm emo or ugly. I kinda like this boy to and I've heard he likes me to were kinda friends but would he still like me if i made that big of a change? All his exs are blondes or girls with light brown hair. Please tell me what you think and dont say he should like you for who you are because i know that but looks count to lol.
If I put blue dye over red hair, will it turn purple?
I don't know.... :) Thats why your experimenting? LOL.... I think it might..... when you have darker hair, and you want to dye your hair, your hair never changes into the colour you want it to change into.... I have experienced this. But, if you have blonde hair, different colours come out really well. So, I think you won't get exactly that blue shade you wanted.
Will using purple shampoo give my dark brown/ violet hair more of a purple tinge?
I've just recently dyed my hair a very dark purple based red sort of color. It's a deep brown with purpley red tones; the color is Revlon Colorsilk 34 Deep Burgundy if you're curious. I was wondering if using a purple shampoo would keep the orangey red from becoming so potent while making the purple a tad more obvious. Would using a purple shampoo give my hair more of purple tinge as opposed to brassy red?
What hair colour is best for short hair on a pale person- blue, purple, or silver?
As a fellow pale person, I’ve found that sticking to dark or jewel tones look the best. I’ve dyed my hair dark purple (all over), dark red (all over), and bright blue (just the ends) in the past, and they all looked very nice. I think it’s possible to pull off silver, depending on the undertones of your skin, but I would go with a darker silver or gray if you like those at all. My sister, who is just as pale as I am, has really short hair that she currently has dyed bright purple, bright blue, silver, and dark purple for a galaxy effect. I don’t have an pictures of it at the moment, but it looks really cool.
Eyebrows that match purple hair?
Hey there! So, my hair was a light shade of champagne blonde and my eyebrows a medium brown. A couple of days I dyed my hair to a vibrant shade of purple, and I was wondering if I should fill my eyebrows in a new colour? I can't make them purple as well because they're already too dark for that, but I was wondering if black eyebrows would look good along side purple hair? My entire head is purple and there isn't any evidence of the blonde left. If not, do you have any other suggestions for brow colours? Note my eyebrows are already brown and so it's hard to add light colours. Also, I don't want to shave them off. Thank you!
Does red hair look good on tan skin?
