Would It Make You Uneasy To Go Down An Open Staircase

When I go up or down stairs, I feel pain in my knee. What should I use as a home remedy?

You can do exercises to strengthen the muscles surrounding your knee (there are plenty of instructional videos on the web), use braces, heat and ice and take NSAIDS but they may only be temporary forms of relief depending on your condition. Get a proper diagnosis from a physician that deals with knee pain. I had the same problem and every year at my annual physical I would tell my primary doctor about the pain in my knees. He examined my knees and told me that I had plenty of cartilage left and was too young to have problems. After several years of my complaints he finally sent me to an Orthopedist. An Xray was immediately taken and it was revealed that yes, I had plenty of cartilage left in the middle of my knees but none on the outsides. The diagnosis was Osteoarthritis and a torn meniscus and I started the long road to a total knee replacement of my left knee and injections of a fluid which acts as a lubricant into my right knee. So yes go to a doctor but make sure he takes an Xray instead of just doing a physical exam. I feel that I went through years of unecessary pain and discomfort just because my primary doctor didn't send me for a simple Xray, which would have shown most of my problems. The good news is that nine months after my surgery my knee feels great. It no longer swells each time I walk up stairs and I no longer need the anti inflammatories that could lead to other problems when taken as a constant pain medication. Get a proper diagnosis first so you know what you are dealing with and then determine how you wish to proceed. Chances are that your problem may not be that bad yet and you may still be able to deal with it by going to physical therapy; a very natural remedy.

Tall shadow figure, in my best friend's basement.?

I agree, very chilling story! Shadow people are usually benign, although some are not. I've never seen one where I could see eyes. It's not unusual to feel like you're being watched in a basement, especially a creepy one. There's usually high EMFs down there in older ones with older furnaces, wiring, etc. But, you can certainly feel an evil presence, and I believe this is what you were feeling when you came in contact with it. 6-8' is a pretty significant difference. You can probably get someone to stand in the area that it was standing in order to find out about the size of the creature. I'd suggest saying a prayer of protection any time you go to your friend's house. You didn't mention if your friend and the family have had any experiences down there aside from the creepy feeling. I most certainly know the feeling of being face to face with something so frightening, that what could be seconds or minutes, feels like hours. Anyhow, if your friend's parents have had any experiences, they could/should contact a paranormal investigation group in the area and go investigate. They shouldn't charge for their services.

My dog is afraid of our basement? paranormal?

my dog is absolutely scared of our basement. we try to get him to go down the steps but he backs away and cries. we just tried to do it again today just to see what he would do and he backed away, cried, ran around the house, and barked. i thought maybe it was because when he was a puppy, my mom would carry him down the steps since he was too small to walk down them. well one day she was carrying him and it was icy out and she slipped and dropped him.. but that happened outside, not in our basement, and he walks down those steps now and he'll walk down any other steps but the ones going into the basement. could this be something paranormal?

A sense of dread in my room?

Yes, it could be all in your head. But coming from someone whose had that very thought on more than one occassion and then had things proven to her, I can tell you that the chances are really good that you're not just imagining things.

Dabble in the occult... yup, probably. You should never "dabble" in anything you don't fully understand. Because it draws things like this. Why your brother's room and not yours? is your brother's room under the attic by chance? Or on the highest floor of the house? I get the sense the attic is close by. Chances are it's been hiding out in your brother's room. You should ask him if anything weird ever happened in his room.

i can give you suggestions as to get ridding of it. First and foremost, stop dabbling. you're playing with fire. If you're going to do it, do it with someone whose experienced fully in the art. If it's something like satan worshiping... you're asking for it. lol

Burn white candles, pure white, not vanilla white, burn one within the room and one on the windowsill.

Forget sandlewood. It's not strong enough, you'd have to burn one stick every hour in order to get strong enough to chase something off. Get frankincense. Frankincense and Myrrh is good too. It's good for space clearing but not as "smokey" as smudging (smudging sets off my smoke alarms).

Tell it to get out. Tell it nothing dark is welcome in your space. But like I said, with dabbling you're kind of inviting it simply because you haven't set any rules. You haven't told it that it *can't* be there.

Hmmm.... usually I have a whole arsenel of things you could do to chase this thing off but it must not be very strong, because i'm drawing a blank now. So I think this will work for you. Frankincense and candles, burn them everyday. What you want to do is draw in the light, the good stuff, and drawing in the good stuff will chase off the darkness. Make your room a place darkness doesn't WANT to be. Fill it with things that give you peace and make you feel loved and light and good.

and for crying out loud, stop dabbling. lol

OH... windchimes. If you can, one at the front door and one at the back door. You might also hang one in a window. Windchimes chase them off, I have no idea why but it works.

Do women feel uncomfortable in short dresses/mini skirts? If so, why do they wear them? I have seen women struggling to maintain themselves while sitting, climbing stairs, etc.

By your question details I guess there could be two things :You saw the one who have worn them for the first timesThey don’t know the basics how to flaunt them for eg.If the skirt is up to knees , you can simply sit with crossed legs. But while wearing a short skirt, you better sit with crossed ankles, better note it down.wrong !!right !!While climbing the stairs, make sure you take small steps and one at a time. Never show hurry. And if possible try to move in a diagonal way up to the top and avoid climbing in a straight line. Try to cross the legs whenever you put a step forward.like here..cross your legshere, climbing in a diagonal way, helps to cross your legs one behind another, thus less chances of mishappening .If you think, you need to be active like on picnic going here and there, avoid heels, wear flats, or sneakers etcSitting on floor or ground..do not cross your legsyou can which one’s better ..For God sake, if you drop something, please sit and then pick it up.. don’t you bend downI guess, this all is enough to differentiate what can make you comfortable and what not.We girls love these cute outfits, that’s why we carry them no matter if have to learn to be friends with struggle. Can you compare it with the struggle girls go through in the chillings winters nights, when they carry low waist saree or lenhanga choli ?Thanks :)
