What are some segment ideas for a school news?

maybe do a segment about the school lunch and how it could be improved. or about how facebook is corrupt and doesnt allow any privacy. or about the royal wedding. that idiot who answered your questuion first doesnt realize how big the wedding is, in terms of being a part of history. the prince is getting married, making his wife the princess, and they may be king and queen someday. the actual showing of the wedding on television is purely entertainment. citizens of britian know that its a big part of history and the fact that they get to see it is very special to them, duhhh

Had the dinner hosts in the first segment of "Who is America?" been incited to strike SBC, would they be able to rely on the Fighting Words Doctrine outlined in Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire as an affirmative defense?

It would be interesting for a new case to be put in front of SCOTUS on this subject. We have widened the definition of acceptable speech, and comments as Chaplinsky made would not even raise an eyebrow today. Only offensive speech requires protection, otherwise anyone can just hit a political opponent and claim this precedent as an affirmative defence. There is lots of political positions and speech that I disagree with, but “fighting words” should never be a defence for converting discourse into physical conflict.

Good high school news segment.....?

As a former high school newspaper advisor, I can tell you that most high school students only want to read about "gossip"--who is datiing who, what about that cute guy who drives the red mustang convertible, that "hot chick" in Biology.

"Cutesy" stuff does have a place in a school newspaper; but, I would suggest the students in charge concentrate on more substantive issues: available scholarships, students who are volunteering their time to homeless shelters, hospices, food banks, etc.

"School" was not founded on "fun" or "excitement"; but, on learning reading, writing, ethics, and morals. Today, our public schools are teaching none of these.

As a retired teacher, who now substitutes in a large metropolitan school district, I can tell you at least 80 percent of the students I come in contact with, at any age group, cannot read, are incapable of writing a complete sentence, and don't care that they are incapable.

School newspapers have an opportunity to develop, within their student body, a positive attitude toward education and community service. I believe that is the purpose of a school newspaper.

How can I segment email list by gender with only email adresses?

Segmentation is the name of the game for email marketing. If you can segment properly, the chances of you striking a chord with your audience and moving them into Marketing Qualified Leads greatly improve. So, how can we do this? A couple of options;Simple Google Search - Simply use a Google search with their email addresses andUse Rapportive to get more details about the people from their LinkedIn accounts and then derive their details. However, if you are going for a scale of 100k contacts, these methods can be time consuming. A simpler alternative would be to pay a small price and use a tool like FullContact or Vibe. This will process the entire list and give you the details in a CSV/XLS file.Reach out to me at hello@vibeapp.co if you want to talk about how we can do it. :)

Words with letters that work on a 7-segment display?

I'm playing with 7-segment LED displays. I like to make letters out of them. I have 4 of the 7-segment-displays side by side. I'm looking for some fun 4-letter words that will work with these; i.e., no K's, M's, N's, or W's. Preferably just the letters A, B, C, d, E, F, G, H, I, J, L, O, P, S, U, and Y. The letters q, r, t, and Z are iffy. Funny phrases would be really cool, such as "HELL / OF A / DEAL", heh. You see, I would display each word one at a time. Thanks!
