Wrestling Section Look At This Dope

Does Boxing, MMA or Wrestling while high help you?

man to be honest ive only wrestled high out of those three sports you have asked. i do not consider it any form of dope, because it isnt, it is not a performance enhancer like steriods or coke or any kind of speed an athlete might take before a game, like where im from, every one i played with so so messed up on speed and pain killers they were so damn hyped up and out of controll, they couldnt concentrate on the moent, just the momentum of the team....but weed, it keeps you aware(almost to the extent of parinoia i guess) so your mind stays alert, and things just seem to break down easier. of course i do have a.d.d. tho so it might explain why it has that affect athleticly on me. it really depends on the person tho...were your parents habitual smokers that carried out daily task on weed? mine were, and i have to admit, in some cases it helped, in football and wrestling, i get aggresive very easily, i found that after i smoked i was just relaxed enough not to make a mistake, and it kept me aware of my suroundings to where i use to just plow thru someone, on try to pull some kind of judo **** and throw someone across the room in wrestling, the point is that i define weed as not a drug. i dont use it any more, its been a long time. but i find it honorible, it is a warriors battle prep.( if you do not believe me just research it, look up its uses for war from ancient greece, all the way to the crusader wars) and it really all depends on the person.

now that dosent mean i am saying to go and smoke a half oz before you go try to fight three rounds, maybe just try to find the correct time to experiment with it.

dont be like me, when i discoverd that it helped me (me alone, my buddies performed terribly when they were high) so after i won a match i was like hell i dont have to stay sober all the time any more, so i went to the weight room the next day after i over did it with the bong, and it wasnt pretty, i couldnt perform any of my lifts right or do the weight i was supposed to do (although i did better at power cleans)
but like i said if you want to just experiment with it( not during anything important & do not make it a habbit, trust me its a good idea man, im not saying it almost ruined my life or anything because it didnt i just lost a lot of time because i was sitting around and smoking all day, there are better things to do with your time and life) i hope my adive helps you man.

How come no mma practitioners are using rope-a-dope?

Afterall it works in boxing for stikes, so why not allow an opponent in the cage to use his "high school" wrestling skills to throw you you around all over the cage through the first round and tired him self down? He's going to come out during the second round tired as hell and completely zapped of energy. This would be just like "rope-a-dope except for the cage. Would you use this strategy? I've actually had Mike Reizan ( member of my team ) use this rop-a-dope strategy in the cage and it's actually worked for him a few different times. He thought I was crazy until he tried it ..... effective or not?

What are the names theme songs for the following wrestlers?

Kane
"Slow Chemical" (Finger Eleven)

Edge's WWE entrance song is "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge. During 2001-2003 it was "Never Gonna Stop (The Red, Red Kroovy)" by Rob Zombie and before that he used two original WWF made songs entitled "You Think You Know Me" and "On the Edge". Since "You Think You Know Me", all of his theme music has been preceded by the eponymous phrase from that song.

Rob Van Dam
"Walk" (Pantera), "Walk" (Kilgore), "One of a Kind" (Breaking Point)(current theme), "Fury of the Storm" (Shadows Fall)

Chris Benoit
"One Thing" (Finger Eleven), "whatever" (Our Lady Peace)(current theme)

Vince Mcmahon
"No chance in hell (dope)

Jonathan Coachman
"Hard Hittin'" (Homebwoi)

WWE RAW
"The Beautiful People" (Marilyn Manson), "Across the Nation" (The Union Underground)(the one that you want), "To Be Loved" (Papa Roach)

WWE Friday Night SmackDown!
"The Beautiful People" (Marilyn Manson), "Rise Up" (Drowning Pool), "Rise Up 2006" (Drowning Pool)(current theme)

ECW on Sci Fi
"Bodies" (Drowning Pool)

What is it like to be a WWE wrestler?

As good an experience , it us also stressful. You have to please your boss , please the fans , always travel , always on the road (be away from family in some cases). On the other hand you get to meet so many people (fans , hall of famers) you get to travel to so many different wonderful countries , you get the wonderful feeling of fans (especially little kids) looking up to you , a dope character (once its gone over on the crowd) so many different elements that make the experience exciting and also rather stressful.

Did you like Joan Jett's live performance of her song Bad Reputation for Ronda Rousey's entrance to the ring at WWE WrestleMania 35 last Sunday night?

I liked her performance. I like seeing the band behind the wrestlers entrance music perform live at WrestleMania. Nothing is really going to top Motörhead’s performance. But Joan Jett is pretty high on my list of good performances. My wishlist still remains that Alter Bridge would’ve performed Metalingus for Edge before he was forced into retirement. With all the WWE entrance music done by CFO$, the live band playing a wrestler down to the ring is becoming a rarity.

How do you respond to someone who says "cool" to something you did?

It's nothing more or less than an expression, generally meaning that the subject matter is good.I was born in 1960! (So out of touch!) and have lived in the west, and Midwest here in the US. I also lived Portugal and Brazil… my point is they ALL had different colloquialisms for something that was "good."As a kid I used adjectives like, "groovy", "boss" and "neat-o". Seems strange, I know! In the 70s I drove: a) a cool, b) rockin', c) or even a bitchin Camaro. Years later I heard the kids calling things "the bomb" "the shit" "gnarley" … then "fat or phat" came on the lexicon scene along with "hot" "dope" or even "sick." My Portuguese and Brazilian friends would get a good laugh out of something being call hot or cold (get a jacket!) But their culture was FULL of what seemed strange descriptors, like my Camaro was "legal" and a pretty girl would be called, "Que Machina!" Yet they would roll with laughter to think some would call her a fox or a chick!!Im sure you get my point. We all have an arsenal of words that give character or added meaning we've used, both good or bad meanings. Now think about the literal meanings of these words… I have a truly beautiful wife, and though depending on the decade we we're in or from, she can't really be described by any of those words. She's just flat out one "hot, cool" "chick" built like a "brick house!" She is one "legal machine!" We cool dude?

How do you feel about Batista vs Triple H at Wrestlemania?

How do I feel about Batista vs. Triple H? Fear.I fear that Batista will have considerable ring rust and Triple H, while still a skilled wrestler, has slowed so considerably over the years that any future matches will only diminish his impressive legacy. Triple H vs Batista ten years ago would have been a show stopper. Five years back, a sight to see. At Wrestlemania XXXV, something that looks better on paper than on the Grandest Stage of Them All.On the plus side, both men look to be in tremendous condition. Batista has not been in the ring since June of 2014, but he has continued to keep up a high level of body building. To ease his return, he will be working out and refreshing his wrestling skills at the Performance Center. Batista has always relied on his power game, and that may not have diminished in the least. On the other hand, he has not sold another’s wrestler’s offense in almost five years. How well he works with an opponent remains to be seen. Then there’s the question of endurance and lung capacity. Will he gas out quickly or can he still go for 20 minutes? How close he can get to his old form is an open question. At Crown Jewel, D-X, Shaun Michaels and Triple H, were in a ugly - slow, sloppy and sluggish - match against The Brothers of Destruction. Admittedly the match had some excellent moments, but the build was tedious. Overall, not a match for the record books. (Triple H was badly injured, but that has never stopped him before. Triple H reveals extent of brutal injury suffered at WWE Crown Jewel, see pics. The man is extremely tough, durable, and committed: professional.) The point is that even prior to his injury at Crown Jewel, Triple H was not putting on a great show - even with breathing room given by tagging out and depending on a partner. Putting on a solid 20 minute match mano a mano may be beyond either wrestler.Maybe Triple H is thinking, “I ain't as good once was/But I'm as good once, as I ever was,” to quote Toby Keith. Trouble is, he is not as good once as he was during The Attitude Era. This is a vanity project; one that likely will not do much for either man’s vanity.
