X-files On Netflix Is Missing Subtitle Translations

X-files on Netflix is missing subtitle translations?

I've been watching season 2 and even went back to some season 1 episodes. The opening credit's line "The Truth Is Out There" and "Trust No One" are all gone from all episodes. The subtitle translations are gone, as well as the info text that comes up before each scene that gives a city state location and time. All that information is gone. There is a similar problem on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, same issue of missing built in subs being removed. You can try to complain to netflix about either of these shows. I've been doing it for months they still haven't fixed it. They keep telling me it's the studio who provides the streams it's their fault netflix isn't allowed to alter the content. Basically saying deal with it. they aren't going to fix it. i suggest watching shows on amazon instead and ditching netflix altogether. Netflix blows, and they don't care about customer complaints, or how they present any shows or how bad of an experience it is for paying members.

How do I fix my subtitles on Netflix?

I was watching Soul Eater and my subtitles were working fine, but when I got to the third season the subtitles were out of line with the audio. It just started on Season 3. I went back to Season 2 to see if it would do the same, but it didn't. Why?

How do I fix my Netflix subtitles?

Over the late spring and early summer, the subtitles on Netflix haven't been working. About a month ago, I watched a movie in a different language, and they suddenly started to work again. But now, they're not. I have restarted my phone, closed out of the app, and have tried for about a month to get it working again. Is there a way to get them working again? And if this is of any help, I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Why did "Orange is the New Black" choose not to add subtitles when characters speak to one another in languages other than English?

Generally, the subtitles are added. In a situation where characters are speaking a non-English language and the subtitles are not there, it's because the audience can figure out what was said based on context. For example, in season 3, Flores is playing the 2 truths and a lie game with Maritza, Daya, and Maria. Flores says her 3 statements in Spanish, which has no captions on screen, but Maria translates for Daya and thus translates for the audience.
