How do you delete or remove an Xbox live account?

It depends on the context in which you want to remove the account. Are you wanting to remove the account from your Xbox One console?Sign into the account you want to remove on the console you want to remove it from.Go to settings and select Sign-In, Security, and Passkey.Under the Sign-In and Security column, select Remove me from this Xbox. Are you wanting to delete the account entirely? On Microsoft’s Xbox website, search for the “Close Your Account” option under your Account settings. From there, you will have to acknowledge a bunch of agreements and select a reason for closing your account. To finish the closure, you have to click “Mark account for closure”.Hope this helps.

Does installing a game to the Xbox-360 hard-drive delete previous saved files?

nope :) it only happens if you delete your data yourself (or have some weird glitch that makes your 360 mentally rertarded or ur harddrives broken :))

How do I get my Xbox live account on Xbox One?

It transfers with you!As Xbox live account is essential for online play, especially Gold. I have made the transfer to Xbox One from 360, with my Gold active. Once I had it set up to the internet, it asked me to sign in to XBL. I did and I haven't lost Gold nor my Live status. As far as I know with your Halo MCC, as long as you rebuy or re download it, you will keep all your data. I'm very sorry if I'm wrong, but I kept a whole lot of data with almost all my other games p, that I only re downloaded.Hopefully I've answered your question!

NEED HELP!! what happened to my friends account on xbox live.?

it sounds more like coincidence, i pretty sure you can't delete your account from xbox, i tried doing it to my brother a couple of nights back with no luck.

if you have deleted his account, you can always email him, most profiles on xbox live have a saved email address.

If I "uninstall all" on an Xbox One game, does it delete my save data, or is it saved in the cloud, ready to reinstall with the game?

Three years into the life cycle of the Xbox One, storage space has become a valuable commodity. The base model’s 500GB drive doesn’t seem quite so spacious when your “Ready to Install” list is packed with AAA games that can take up more than 50GB, and almost double that if you’re downloading 4K-compatible games on an Xbox One X.Unless you’ve invested in an external drive to increase your console’s storage capacity, you’ve probably experienced the feeling that comes when you’re forced to delete one of your games to make room for another. If not, the first time can be a harrowing — and confusing — experience. To help you out, we’ve assembled this handy guide on how to delete and re-install your content. It won’t make picking which games to eradicate from your drive any easier, but it will tell you which buttons to press to do so.Step 1From the Xbox One home screen, press the Xbox button to bring up the dashboard, then select the “My Games & Apps” tile.Step 2Highlight the tile of the game you’d like to remove from your hard drive and press the Menu button on your controller. (That’s the Start button, for most players.)Step 3Select “Manage Game” from the pop-up menu that appears.Step 4The next screen is divided into two parts. On the left, you’ll see each piece of content related to the game in question, listed under “Installed” or “Ready to install.” From the left side of the screen, you can also manage any saved data that exists for the selected game.On the right, you’ll see some details about the game, including its file size and a link to the game’s page in the Xbox Store. You can choose to move the data if you have another storage device connected, copy it, or uninstall it entirely. Choose “Uninstall all,” and the game will be removed from your hard drive.Reinstalling deleted gamesIf you want to re-install a deleted game, head back to the “My Games & Apps” screen. On the left, you should see “Ready to Install (X)”, with “X” signifying the number of games and apps you own that aren’t currently installed on your hard drive. Selecting a game or application will automatically begin the installation process, assuming you have enough space on your console. On the left side of the screen, you’ll also now see a “Games With Gold”…Continue Reading

How do I delete my gamertag off of Xbox Live so that I can remake the same one over again?

I have already deleted the gamertag and all of the memory from my hard drive. I have also deleted the Windows Live email address. Yet it still won't let me reuse the gamertag. My Xbox Live card is going to expire in January, I didn't pay for subscription.

Is this why I can't reuse it, because I still have some Live left on the account? Like I said, everything that needed to be deleted has been. What do you think is the problem?

Can I call Microsoft and ask them to delete it from the community?
What is Microsoft's number to call a phone operator and talk to them about this?

How do I remove my friend from gamesharing on Xbox and how do I make sure the games he downloaded from my purchase get deleted?

Simply go to your Xbox One and set it as your home console.Game sharing only works when you set up someone else’s Xbox One as your home console, by making your own console home again you remove that status from whatever other console was currently sharing it.You don’t have any way to verify if the data he’s downloaded is deleted, and it’s irrelevant anyway, it may remain there taking up hard drive space but he can’t log into or play those games unless you set his console as your home again.Game Sharing as a feature only allows you to share with one other Xbox One at a time, you can move that around simply by setting another console as your home and it removes sharing from the previous one. By setting your own as home then you’ve told the system you aren’t sharing with anyone else right now.

If I delete my game on Xbox and I reinstall it, will I have all of my skins, progress, etc.?

Anything you bought will be synced. So yes all of your saved games will be there unless you intends to sell your xbox one if you are tired of it and erase everything on your xbox one account
