My Xbox Live keeps saying "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Code: 8015D021" I don't get what this means, please help!?
Could someone please help me, whenever I try to log in to my Xbox Live account it says this. I even went to xbox's website to try to find error code 8015D021 but nothing came up! I tried changing my password. But still I haven't had any luck getting on.. On my other xbox live accounts (Other family member's accounts to please don't tell me to use them) it doesn't five an error but it does for me. Please Help!!!
Xbox Proofs AND Xbox live problems?!?
Ive been Logging in to my xbox and well getting around the proof sign in. But, once im in xbox live it says I have no friends and no messages witch I clearly remember having friends. I try to sign into Netflix, but It doesnt let me. I cleared my "Cache". Still nothing. I cant even log in into my second account anymore. Bottom line seems like Xbox doesnt want me connecting into Xbox Live anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Guys if you go to www.xbox.com/servicealerts they will tell you there is some issues with sign in and xbl related issues... I have the same problems as you guys.. From Ohio. I have friends who get on just fine. However, I am part of their beta program. Big mistake because my xbox hasn't been running right since I signed up and no way of deleting it either. Help with unsecured network for Xbox live?
The unsecured part leaves your network vulnerable but only to people who are really close to your location.. like your next door neighbors could hack into it if they have the knowledge and desire but it does not affect anything you will encounter on the internet.. as far as the internet stuff goes it's the same as everyone else.. If I were you I would ask whoever set up the network why it is set that way.. if they don't have a reason or they think it doesn't matter ask if you can turn on the security.. maybe explain that someone else could send threatening emails or do other illegal activity on their network and because it's their account they could end up having to prove it was someone else to the police.. my dad was like that thinking "I don't have anything anyone wants to steal" what they want to steal is your internet access not your files.. When you do set up security use WPA or WPA2 and not WEP.. WEP can be cracked in like 5 seconds.. If the Xbox won't connect see if they have MAC filtering turned on.. if they do you need to add your Xbox's MAC ID to the list in the router.. Some people think MAC filtering alone is enough for security and they don't want to slow down their wireless with encryption.. it really isn't.. MAC addresses can be spoofed (intercepted and copied to another device) and the filtering only prevents connections to the network.. not interception of data so someone could be watching everything anyone on your network is doing.. If it's not the MAC filter check that the DHCP service is configured correctly.. DHCP is what hands out IP addresses.. without a valid IP, Subnet Mask and Gateway address from DHCP (or manually applied) you wont be able to connect to the internet..
Microsoft won't cancel my Xbox Live subscription?
I'm seriously about to murder these people. So, recently they added some sort of security measure for my Xbox live account where I need to enter my e-mail address to actually use my xbox live account. Problem is, I don't remember at all what my e-mail address could be as I usually just signed in automatically and never was prompted to include an e-mail address. Well, I call microsoft today to search for this e-mail address, and the customer service gentleman says in order to provide me more information on my account, he needs to send me some sort of authorization code through either e-mail or the number I used to sign up the account with. Problem is, I just TOLD him the reason I'm calling is because I don't have the e-mail address. So then I said I wanted to cancel the account since they take money from my bank account, and they outright refused to do othis because, once again, I need to verify the e-mail address. Can they do this? Is there anyway for me to retaliate, because now they're essentially stealing my money all because I don't have the god damn e-mail address??
Xbox 360 "A problem occurred while signing in" Help!?
I was playing Fallout New Vegas, went to Xbox Live Dashboard, shut it of by holding the button the on the controller and pressing "Turn Off Console", and when I turned it on and tried to sign in again and kept getting the same message. Also my Xbox Live kept dropping out for no reason before this happened. Please help!
How do recover my xbox live account if ive forgotten the email address used?
Call Xbox customer support, you will need to provide your gamertag, name on the account, billing address, possibly the last 4 of a credit/debit card on the account, and the correct answer to the security question. With that info they can prove ownership and help you out with getting it set up under a new email.Or you could just go to login.live.com and try the cant access your account tool and try all the emails it may have been set up under, assuming you still have access to them or set up a recovery account.Good luck!
PS3 vs Xbox 360?
i would go for the ps3 for these reasons: It has a great built in web browser. also has built in wifi so u wouldn't need to connect it directly to an Ethernet cable is you have a wireless router. The PSN (playstation Network) is free to all playstation owners, and is great for online play. also the psn has the playstation store which is great for downloading free demos, videos, trailers,wallpapers and themes and psn games which cost a little doe. also the ps3 has a built in blu ray player for playing the highest quality movies on the market. an 80 gig system makes for a great central entertainment piece, can store movies, music, pics and games. Wanna really get set up and get the full experience, then get an hdtv and 5.1 surround sound! The xbox 360 has xbox live which costs 50-60bux a year. the 360 does not have a web browser yet but might be added in future updates. if you buy the elite system you will get built in wifi but if you don't you will have to pay and extra 100-120 bux for it. When it comes to games xbox does have halo, but you can only have so much fun with 1 game, ps3 has some great games and some great games on the horizon(metal gear solid 4, gran turismo 5, resistance 2, killzone 2....) 2008 is definitely gonna be a great year for ps3, tons of great games are coming out... and Home too, look it up. i traded in my 360 for a ps3 near launch and i don't regret it. but the final decision is up to you of course. good luck, and if you get i ps3 add me, "proffesor_chaos"
