Yahoo Mail Not Opening Is There Anyone Else Having Trouble Opening Their Emails I Can Go To My

Is anyone else having problems logging into Yahoo mail? I see I have emails, but can't open them up?

Yes, I was having problems for several days not being able to get into my yahoo mail..I could log into yahoo...just not into my mail. I kept getting Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate and a date that that had already. I did some research and found out I couldn't get into my mail because my computer clock was not set properly. Somehow, it was set back to 2003 and it was preventing me from getting into my mail.

Just by chance, go into your control panel and check your clock and date settings to make sure they are up to date. It fixed my problem and now I can get into my mail.

Goodluck,

Is anyone having trouble with yahoo email today(8/19)?

I have been unable to access my email since last night, getting the "Error Code 2" message, and reported the problem, but since I had no other email account at the time, I don't know if they have answered me. I then opened a hotmail email account, and reported again, but still no answer.

Yahoo Mail: Anyone had problems with non-spam mails going into spam folder? (2 questions)?

Q1: Sometimes I get mail that goes into my SPAM folder that should not be going in there on Yahoo. Like if I'm in a group of people who have been replying to each other back and forth on the same subject, sometimes a group member who's in the "CC" list replies and I later find that their email went directly into the spam box....The message of the email was nothing out of the ordinary either just a simple paragraph and from a major email account like hotmail. Any reason? Do you find this is somewhat common?

Q2: Today I sent an email and I noticed that my email included a signature of "Do You Yahoo!?
Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around
http://mail.yahoo.com"

Usually it doesn't do that, does it just randomly attach itself to mails you send out once in a while? Would that throw off spam filters into thinking my mail is spam? Now I'm paranoid.

I am having trouble with opening emails (message says loading email please wait?

I have the exact same problems, beginning last week with Yahoo not attaching my files and not letting me open my mail.

There is something going on here. I am looking for other mail services.

How do I get Yahoo to open my emails?

You are not doing anything wrong. Yahoo is introducing a new version of YMail and it is causing problems. If you can get into Classic Mail, it is working well. But Yahoo makes it difficult to get to it.
Yahoo knows about the problem opening emails.

When using Yahoo! Mail, if I send an email to someone I have blocked, will the person receive it?

With my understanding, I would say yes only if the person has not blocked you also. When you are the only one who has blocked the person will not have a problem for it will be just like any other person that you are sending to that has not heard from you ore have been getting emails from you. So there is no worry if you have not been blocked.

Can I see if someone read my email in Yahoo mail?

Your question refers to the “read receipt” which is not a feature of Internet-based free email. It's only part of the feature set of business email exchangers like Microsift Outlook Exchange. You first would’ve had to request a read receipt, while sending each such message of interest. So the short answer is: at home, probably not. At work, it depends, but likely no unless you requested such notification when you sent the message. Some systems support ex-post-facto read receipts, but unless you included a read receipt request originally, that may be immaterial, anyway. When I don't get a timely reply, I may try two or three other modes to contact the recipient. These include messages with subjects like 2nd REQUEST: {original subject}, polite phone calls, contacting their support staff or other coworker with a general inquiry. I have never considered contacting the IT dept. to ask if the person checks messages often. Non-communicative types are generally “off their radar,” too.Note that although it's tempting to jump to conclusions, even when message recipients receive read requests (which may pop up even via Yahoo! Mail—read their Help pages for full details), the recipient can easily decline to notify you. So unless you phone them to inquire, you may never know if they read your message or not. Auto-responders provide no proof. For proof: certified paper mail with proof of delivery. Ask any paralegal. It's a modern-life reality that people with inflated egos and/or criminal tendencies routinely disregard the usual niceties of acknowledging that they’ve received and/or read messages. Or maybe they’re behind in their correspondence/work, or they simply dislike you and may wish to continue patterns of passive-aggressive behavior? Some issues have no technological solution. HR dept. visit, anyone? The same people who fail to return phone calls and never reply to email messages used to pay secretaries to run interference for them. When observing such behavior/patterns in someone: I advise going over or around them. Changing them is not your job.Be careful of accusing others without real evidence. Red flags? Being the first “snitch” who identifies ongoing passive-aggressive behaviors may impact your popularity, but exposing cretins for exactly who they are can be fun and may improve.culture in time. Thanks for the A2A. Sorry if I overshared, lol.
