Yahoo Store Editor To Advanced Mode By Default How To Do It

How do I change the default photo duration on Windows Live Movie Maker?

Interesting study. The size of the batches of photos is going to be a problem - yes, for Movie Maker but, mostly, for your computer. Unless you have a lot of RAM (more than 8 Gbs) and a few hundred free Gbs on your HD, you're not going to be able to process many at a time.

Another consideration: How big is each image? What is the resolution? If you're making a video, each image only needs to be the frame size you want the video to be so you can knock off some of the batch's "weight" by resizing. Also, the resolution should be high enough to prevent the video from having the "blurries".

Faststone Resizer is a lightweight program that does a great job. Besides resizing, it can crop, adjust the resolution, add watermarks, convert file types, etc. (I use it to add custom watermarks.) You're still only going to be able to process about 20 images at a time (depending on the configuration of your computer.)

Once the images are ready for video processing, it's easy to change the duration of multiple images: You click on the first image, hold down shift and click on the last image in the series. On the Video Tools>Edit tab, you'll see "Duration" and can change it to one of the choices in the dropdown or type the value you need directly into the box.

What's the difference between Microsoft Word, Microsoft Paint and Adobe Photoshop CS4?

Those programs are very different indeed.

Microsoft's Word is mainly used for writing as the name suggests. There is rudimentary drawing in there which you can use to make your own simplistic diagrams: flowcharts, thought-bubbles, shapes, and so forth. This is a separate program from Windows so you have to pay for it but it is the most popular document creation/editing tool around.

Microsoft Paint is their very simplistic drawing program where you can draw simple lines, colors and cartoon-like drawings. But the mouse interface makes it very hard to accomplish much. Basically like drawing with your feet. This one's free and comes with Windows.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 or any other version (CS5, etc.) is a very comprehensive image tool. It's a graphics editing program but very intimidating for the casual user. It's used mainly for image manipulation but also to create images as well. Very powerful pro too. This impressive tool comes with an equally impressive price (north of US$500)!

Perhaps there's something specific you would like to do on your computer. If you want to do something in particular, please add some details so we can nudge you in the right direction.

How to set Itunes has my default Iplayer on Windows 7?

Hi,

I have installed Itunes and when opening my music files it will only allow me to open with Windows Media Player. When installing Itunes I set this has my default player in the past on xp and vista theres usually a selection after right clicking to open with something else but there ain't. How do I set Itunes has my default program?

Thanks

Vim uses swap files to store the current state of the file you are editing. By default vim will use append .swp to the file name to create the swap file. If you close vim with :q the file is deleted. If you shut down vim by closing the terminal, killing the process, powering of the computer... then the file will not be deleted. If you open a file for which there already is a swap file vim will ask if you want to recover from that file, delete it or open the file read-only.All of this can be found out a lot faster than asking on quora by creating a new file, doing some editing and clicking x on the terminal, then in a new terminal opening the file again. It is also documented in the vim documentation.

Follow-up to Leif's answer, the corresponding folder on Mac OS X is ~Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome .  Deleting that folder should reset all your Chrome settings.  When you next open Chrome, it will recreate that folder with the default settings.

Technically speaking, images don’t have a DPI. The DPI is determined by the device that renders the image. If you draw a 100x100 pixel image in a 1″ box, it’s 100dpi. Most rendering devices have a fixed resolution, so the image is generally scaled to fit. For example, a laser printer might have a fixed 600 dpi resolution, so the image will always be 600 dpi, but the number of device pixels per image pixel will be variable (draw that 100x100 pixel image in a 1″ box, it’s 600dpi but each pixel in the image is drawn using 6 printer pixels).Sometimes, it’s possible to store an the image file a preferred output size. This will either be stated in dpi, but just as often in inches or centimeters. Normally, this information is ignored except when the image is imported into an application doing page layout, so as to set the default scale of the image relative to the page size.Depending on the image format, you can set these values with tools like ImageMagick. In your case, it shouldn’t be at all relevant. Your silkscreener should be asking you how big to size the image to. If you are producing the artwork, you should make sure that you create art that is originally 300dpi or greater. That is to say, if you want the image to be 9″ wide on an T-shirt, the original version of the image should be no less than 2700 (9x300) pixels wide.

How do I change my sreen size?

In Windows XP:

Display settings > Advanced > General > DPI settings.

The default is 96DPI

EDIT 1:
______
If you are using a 4:3 resolution stretched on a 16:10 or 16:9 display the following could help:

1. Using ATI Catalyst or nVidia Desktop manager, configure your video card not to warp the display aspect ratio.

2. Configure your LCD monitor not to warp the aspect ratio.

* * Also in smaller than native resolutions the image may not be stretched to full screen. Configure your videocard software of monitor to stretch to full screen.

ON YOUR KEYBOARD PRESS THE 'Print Screen' BUTTON, open paint and paste. Save as a JPG or PNG and email to bug3y3jedi@yahoo.com.au. If I can see your actual problem it would give me a better chance of helping.

EDIT 2:
______

Change your windows theme. The font size of your title bar and button sizes may be out of whack.

Change back to the default Theme for your version of Windows and go from there.
