The fast food chain has unveiled the new $8.80 Chicken Parmi Burger complete with crispy crumbed chicken breast, parmigiana sauce, rasher bacon, jack cheese, lettuce and a creamy cheese sauce.
'Love a good Parmi? Then try our seriously saucy Parmi Burger with parmigiana and cheese sauce. It's so good you won't want to waste a drop,' the description read.
Diners will also be able to get a free side of small fries and drink when they order the new chicken parmi burger.
Dozens of diners revealed on social media they couldn't wait to try the new burger.
The latest creation is part of the restaurant's new chicken range, which includes an $8.50 McSpicy burger and a $2.65 chicken salt shaker fries.
Chicken nugget lovers will also be able to order the new Chicken McPieces for $7.15, which comes with six crispy golden pieces of breast fillet. For 50 cents extra, you can get a spicy shaker seasoning to go with your meal.
The range comes just days after McDonald's quietly slashed the prices of its Happy Meals to just $4 for a limited time only.
This includes a cheeseburger, a hamburger, three chicken nuggets or a wrap as well as a drink and snack - including milkshakes.
The popular kid's meals usually cost $5.50, marking a significant saving for savvy families keen to treat their children.
