of the standard spirits that you buy at the store there arent a lot of ones with a higher alcohol content however the best way to get the strongest purest alcohol is to distill it yourself you can buy kits online to do that i think or at least guides and item lists to make it. 151 is 151proof which is roughly 75% alcohol if you distill your own it will be nearly 200 proof and 100% alcohol.
Has anyone drank Bacardi 151 over-proof straight?
Its a rum from the Dominican i believe and I've only tried it a couple times. It's basically 75 % alcohol and typically mixed with juice or whatever. But has anyone ever tried this stuff straight? I have tried a couple shots straight one time and I basically got woozy in a matter of 10 minutes. I didn't chug it or do anything like that either. It was 2 very small shots.

Yes, it is normal.We already have some alcohol tolerance in our body due to our powerful immune system which try to reduce the effect of alcohol.When people just start drinking, they need to drink a bit more than normal drinkers to feel it.So, give it some time and after some time you wil start to feel the effect.Actually, 500ml of beer is very low amount to feel the effect of alcohol and specially for starting. I, myself who is a casual drinker now have to drink atleast 1000ml to feel the effect of it.Give it time and you will be able to enjoy it too.But I would like to personally advice you something. 18 is not a good age to become casual to drinking. I understand that at this age we get the urge to try it and it is a good thing to try new things but until it affects our body. I would advice you to wait till you are atleast 20 or 21.Or if you just want to try, beware, please don’t get addidcted to it. You won’t realise it that you are getting addicted to it. It need a lot of self-control.Now, enough of lessons, enjoy your life.
How Much Damage Will Drinking 151 Bacardi Bring?
It's fine to drink mixed. It's not more damaging than other alcohols, if you bother to adjust for the higher proof. If you use half as much Bacardi 151 as you would use vodka, then it's the same mixed drink by alcohol content (in g, not percent, it should be higher % ABV, but the same amount of alcohol). Everclear 190 proof has a warning on it not to drink it straight. At 95% concentration, that can actually denature proteins. Meaning, it will erode your mouth, esophagus, and stomach. Since 151 is 75.5%, that's not too far away. I'm not sure if Bacardi 151 straight has this same problem, there's no warning on the label. If you drink enough to get drunk on a regular basis, you're drinking too much. Whether you do that with 4 shots of Bacardi 151 straight, or an 9 light beers, they will have the same effects (they are actually equivelant, not random numbers). If you ask Bacardi, they will tell you that 151 is mostly for show. Waiters light it on fire to make certain dishes and drinks look special. Anything over 50% easily catches fire. They wouldn't reccomend you drink it straight.
