Excedrin Extra Strength while on period?
So, when I'm on my period, I get severe cramps and really bad headaches. I was wondering if Excedrin will work as Tylenol, ibuprofen and aleve don't work. I also heard that aspirin can thin the blood and increase bleeding. Is that true? By the way, I'm 16 if that helps any.
Will taking 2 Excedrin extra strength, and 1 .25mg Xanax be bad?
They are perfectly safe to take together. My Husband takes zanax along with other prescription drugs and he takes excederin with them all. He has too because he gets horrible migraines and sinus headaches and he has been doing it for years and never has bothered him. Just be careful is all. yes that zanax will make you sleepy.

It sounds like you might be getting rebound headaches from overusing pain relief. Whilst ibuprofen and other NSAIDs aren't addictive, developing a "tolerance" to them isn't a good idea. They aren't very good for your kidneys. Every headache formula over the counter is simply some sort of combination of: aspirin, paracetamol, caffeine or ibuprofen so just find out what works for you. If you are experiencing headaches frequently see a doctor or stop taking the tablets.
Is it bad to take an ibuprofen 800 and an excedrin?
You'll be fine. Excedrin is Aspirin, acetaminophen(tylenol) and caffeine. And ibruprofen 800 is just that, its ibuprofen its an nsaid like advil or motrin or aleve. Different drugs. And though people are gonna try and freak you out and say things to scare you. You'll be fine. The weird feeling you are most likley getting, is a panic attack because you're worrying yourself so much that you may have done something harmful when in reality, you'll be just fine. Just next time, try to keep tabs on when and what you take. Also, its perfectly normal for a person to be prescribed things like ibuprofen along with a narcotic, which also contains acetaminophen, such as Vicodin or Percocet. As I said before, different drugs.. so its not like you're overdosing on just one drug.. you see what I'm saying? BUT like I said.. its always better to call a pharmacy and ask to speak with a Pharmacist when you have questions about what drugs can be taken together and which ones can't. BTW.. I am not a doctor, or RPh, I am just a former pharmacy technician who happens to have a lot of drug references. One last thing, it will NOT make you tired, contrary to these other people. There is caffeine in Excedrin.. thats most likely why you feel funny. And like some of the people said, just try and eat a little bread or toast. Because aspirin and ibuprofen are both hard on the stomach lining. You will most likely feel just fine again in just a couple hours.. its only 65mg of caffeine in them if I recall correctly, which is no more than whats in a can of coke. and only about a third of whats in a cup of coffee. Excedrin overdose, 10 pills am I in trouble health wise?
Within 6 hours your body including your liver has metabolized that incredibly high dose of Excedrin. You may have some temporary elevated numbers as it pertains to a blood test, testing your liver enzymes but it will go down. You did as much damage as a night of binge drinking, its not permanent but its not smart. If your not vomiting blood or having horrible gastric disturbance you will probably be fine but I would not suggest doing this again for any reason. If your in pain go to the doctor or take normal doses of medication as prescribed or as stated on the bottle. Drink tons of water the rest of the day and eat. Give your liver a rest. If you damage your liver due to drug overdose or alcoholism you go to the bottom of the transplant list so you don't want to go there.
I just took 3 tablets of excedrin like a half hour ago, what could happen.?
i'm 16. i took 3 tablets of excedrin just about a half hour ago. the extra strength one. i didnt realize how many milligrams i took until i read the label. it didnt have it in the front. but i saw 250, so i assumed it was 250. it turned out it was 565. so i had about 1700 mg. i took it cuz of a toothache. wat are the possible side effects? by the way im 5'7" and 140.
Can you die from taking 16 Excedrin?
You're only suppose to take two in 24 hours. So that'd be considered overdose and that much in your system could kill you For sure
