What reasons could there be for blood coming from the mouth and nose? My friend is suffering from this, he is 25-years-old.
In otherwise healthy people having a nose bleed could cause that, but very sick people having diseases that negatively influences one's blood coagulation could in theory cause that also.People having blood coagulation problems could bleed from the nose (and often from the nose to the mouth) also, nothing to do with "heat".Better see a real doc.There is a place in the nose septum where blood vessels form a network, the locus Kiesselbachi, many otherwise healthy people will bleed easily from that, if so an ENT doc can coagulate this place. A nose bleeding if the blood is coming from behind can cause people to spit out blood too.
What is the frequency of passing stools for a 1-month-old baby?
If the baby is on breastfeeding and not passing stool check if baby is passing urine 8 to 10 times per day. Check if urine is very yellowish. If baby is dehydrated like high coloured urine and passing urine less number of times that means baby needs to feed more. If baby is on bottle feed baby passes hard stool and sometimes once every 2 days , once every 3 days, once every 4 days. It's not normal. Sometimes they pass stool everyday but pass hard stool with great difficulty. Some breastfeeding babies (very rarely) who are normally feeding also pass normal stool once in 2 to 3 days. At the end of the day you have to worry if baby is passing hard stool, having difficulty in passing stool , if baby is crying a lot and not taking feeds.
My cat Breast are full of milk and her kittens are gone what should i do ?
My cat had babies about a month and a half ago and she had 5 kittens. This was her second time having babies. ( I didn't have a chance to get her fixed the first time, she ran away and came back pregnant) well the kittens are now gone, they where eating regular cat food and going to the bathroom on their own and very playful . I know they where only 6-7 weeks but I had to give them away i already have 5 cats & I have no room for them, but now my mama cat is so swollen & it looks like milk .what I am wondering is what I should do besides take her to a vet ? I don't know if she is in pain or not. & before anyone tells me to get her fix I already have an appointment.
The vet called about my dog's blood and urine test does his plan sound ok?
He said my dog has an alot of bilirubin in his urine, but in his blood it's normal. He said the urine sometimes shows liver problems before the blood. But in his blood, erythrocytes were increased. Everything else in his blood is normal. His gums are pale and he's very lethargic. And drinks somewhat less. My 2 dogs also have sarcoptic mange, but my other dog is not at all lethargic. They have no secondary bacterial or fungal infections and no worms. Today the vet said since my dog is only 3, it's probably not liver disease but that there might be a parasite the stool check missed. He said we can do an ultrasound and xrays on the liver but to wait until I finish the sarcoptic mange treatment to see if he feels better then. I was wondering if anyone knew what could be wrong? The vet isn't too concerned I guess since he said wait, but I am because I know my dog and he hasn't played or ran in 4 weeks..he's a 3 year old border collie mix this is not normal..thank you
I bought a Labrador puppy (35 days old) 2 days ago. What do they eat? What are good nutritious foods we should give him? Do they also drink milk?
35 days old puppy is too early to get them separated from their mother. As an experienced owner of a Golden retriever and a Labrador I will share some of my personal experiences below about their habits.Food Habits:Try to avoid Cows milk. The puppy wont be able to digest it and will lead to motions. Curd is the best to be introduced but strictly after atleast 1 month. **sometimes if you don’t have curd handy and you need to feed your puppy, take 1 bowl of milk and preshat that for 3 minutes and then increase the flame and add 1 tea spoon of lemon. This will break the milk and then you can add the extra solid food to that and then give to the puppy.I have used Royal Canin Maxi starter for my puppies and I have seen that they liked that. You need to keep in mind that you should not over feed the puppy. Once the puppy wokes up in the morning just give some curd mixed with water. Thenafter 15–20 minutes you can feed him the solid food.Feed the puppy for 4 times a day. Morning you can feed the puppy by around 9 Am. 1 pm noon you can mix the Dog food like RC or Drools with mashed potatoes and curd and feed your puppy. Vegetables are always good for the puppy’s health. You can also use carrots and beans. Boil them properly and then mix with the Dog Food along with curd and feed. 5Pm-6Pm you can feed once the same food. By 10 Pm feed your puppy with a bit more curd so that the digestion process will work properly.Make sure that the puppy is kept in a hygienic place. Also make sure that there is nothing that is kept on the ground such as papers, paperclips or small things that are chewable as the puppy might swallow which might create trouble.Banana is one of the fruit that you can give the puppy at this age. Just take 1/4 of a medium sized banana and then smash and then feed the puppy. That will also act as the treat.Avoid Sweet things also too much salty things.Make sure to keep a bowl of fresh water near the puppy always.Make the puppy play with you so that that will increase its appetite and also will make the puppy more active.But I need to state that Lastly you are the owner of your puppy and you need to take an active part in his life. Just have a check what food he likes the most and at what timings. Maintaining the timings will give the proper growth to your puppy.Thank you and I am happy to share my experience.
