2014 Toyota Corolla S Buying Vs Leasing Question Help

2014 Toyota corolla S buying vs leasing question help!!?

I saw a ad for a 2014 corolla S for $1,999 down and $189 a month for Thirty six months. I'm looking to ultimately buying the car after but I have a few questions on "leasing".

1.) the lease has a 12,000 mile a year limit on it. if I end up buying the vehicle after the lease period is over does it matter how many miles I put on it since I'll be buying it anyways and not returning it?

2.) does anyone think leasing then buying the car at the end of the lease would be more expensive then buying it out front and what is the general process of paying off the rest of the cars value once the lease is up? I'm having trouble finding this aspect of leasing online

3.) does anyone think if I want to buy the 14 corolla S instead of leasing would I be able to get a monthly payment of no more than 220 a month with 2000 down? Does anyone mind telling me what their monthly payment and down payment was when they bought their 2014 corolla s?

Thanks guys

How much do you think a window tinting will cost for a toyota corolla 2002?

It depends on where you go. I've seen specials for as low as $100. It depends on your budget, but I wouldn't get a cheap tint job. Cheap tint jobs tent to discolor and bubble over time. If you go to places that have been in business for a while, they will offer a lifetime warranty against anything like that.

There is a place nearby me that did my car called LA Tint. For a sedan like that the tint job is somewhere between 200-250. Spending the extra money is worth it because if your tint starts to bubble it costs just as much money to take it off than to put it on. I've had my tint for 10 years and never had a problem.

Is a Toyota Corolla a good car?

No not at all!!! They are awful, do yourself a favor and don't even get a Toyota! Get a Chevrolet Cruze or Buick Verano. We have a Buick Verano, it's the quietest car we've ever owned. It has enough get up and go, we usually just drive around town in that car but still get 25 mpg average! Buick's quality is excellent, the interior is well put together and so quiet! Brand new Verano's start at $23,080 but you can also get a used one. I highly urge you to consider this car before you go off and by a toyota, trust me we've leased a 2007 honda accord which was okay (it wasn't my bread and butter), 2 toyota's (both Corolla's a 2008 and a 2011) (we should've learned from the first one not to get a second one) You could check out the Chevrolet Sonic Sedan which starts at $14,185! $2,000 cheaper than a crappy Toyota. The sonic gets 40 mpg with a turbo 4 cylinder and also has an 8.9 / 10 point KBB overall score. Chevrolet was recently given more initial quality awards than any other brand! Please check all of your options before you opt for a Toyota.

How does it feel driving a Toyota Corolla?

Ok, here’s MY honest answer to that question. A lot of people could think differently but this is my opinion as an auto mechanic. This is definitely one of the most reliable car ever made. Probably one of the cheapest to maintain and drive on a daily basis. Pretty cheap on gas too but it’s not the most economic car you could buy. In general, Toyotas tend to burn a little more gas than other cars in the same category but this is a minor set backs compared to the other cars maintenance costs. The interior is as great as any other car while obviously not luxurious. If you are looking for a perfect daily driver to go from point A to B, I would rate it 9 of 10.Other comparable cars would be the Hyundai Elantra which is a little more luxurious on the inside (more light in the cluster, more switches and better looking radio :p) but I wouldn’t say it’s as reliable as a Corolla. The Honda Civic is also a lot alike but it’s more of personal taste. The only thing I hate with the Corolla is that it’s a bit bland for my taste. It sure looks like a soccer mom car but an Elantra isn’t really an exciting car either.Toyotas tend to be a bit more expensive though. But I like to say that reliability has a price so it depends on if you’re buying it for the long term or leasing it and your budget. All in all, the Corolla is still one of the best cars I’ve seen while not being an exciting one.It all depend on what you need and how deep your pockets are.

2014 Dodge Dart Gt or 2014 Toyota Corolla S+ ?

The Toyota
The Dart wasn't that much of a success, I work for an auto group and we carry both brands, we sell FAR more 2014 Corollas than the 2014 Dart. We've only had one Dart sold this week compared to the 12+ Corollas

Would you rather get a Volkswagen Jetta or a Toyota Corolla? Which requires less maintenance?

It depends on your long term plans. The Jetta will likely drive / handle better, but it’s resale value will plummet after around 3 years and it will require more maintenance as it gets older. The Toyota will hold it’s value well and be cheaper to maintain. Go drive both, see which one you like. If you’re doing a 2–3 year lease instead of a purchase, it doesn’t matter too much since repairs and resale don’t come into the equation. When doing a lease deal base your decision entirely on how much you like the car and the lease costs. (how much down, how much a month etc).
