Suggested Diet (Inexpensive)

Rinsed ground beef (put into colander and rinse with hot water, place back in pan to evaporate remaining water). Boneless skinless chicken, tuna, nuts (I prefer a handful of walnuts as they have the omega 3 acids that you get from fish) and veggies.

Juices, fruits, pasta and potato's in moderation

Of course avoid fatty meats, fast food and breads.

Keep your Calorie intake to about 1200-2000 (don't go below 1200).

I am a big believer in weights at the gym. Higher muscle mass=more calories needed to burn to maintain.

Lift 5 days a week, working everybody part. Use light weights. 2-3 sets at 12-15 reps. Rest as little as possible in between sets. This will not only increase muscle mass, but also give you a cardio work out. If you insist on doing more (and have the energy) go for a walk in the evening.

If you are working out for 3 hours at the gym, than you are not working out hard enough. I consider myself in very good shape and I am exhausted after 1 hour.

Input vs output. It isn't about how much time you put into working out, its the quality as well.

Additional suggestion. If you follow the above plan, you will notice an immediate drop in weight 5-8 lbs a week for about 4 weeks. After that you will plateau and see about 2-4 lbs a week. Drink plenty of water and use a skin creme rich in vitamin E. Both the water and creme will help you skins retain its elasticity so you won't see the droppy skin effect.

Lose 100 pounds in 3 months ?

Sorry, dude. 100 pounds in 3 months would actually be dangerous to try. One pound is equal to 3500 calories. Essentially, to lose one pound you must expend/burn 3500 more calories than you eat.

Even if you are working out in two-a-day football practices and trying to eat a low calorie meal plan, you may lose 5 pounds a week (which would be a lot to lose). At that pace, three months would mean you could lose 30 to 40 pounds. But remember, that would be two-a-day practices every day, while eating low calorie meals--very tough. You may not even be able to sustain the engergy levels you need for those kind of workout on that kind of diet.

I'm not trying to discourage you. Just trying to show you reality. If you truly want to get down to 200 lbs, you probably need to lengthen your plan. Two years of steady, consistent workouts on a low-fat, low-calorie diet will probably get you there.

Here are some keys to truly losing weight. First, workouts have to be at least 60 minutes long. Second, balance your cardio workouts with strength training (though muscle weighs more than fat it also burns more calories all day long every day--add more muscle, burn more calories all the time). Cut out all pop and junk food and sugary cereals for breakfast.

Oooh, sounds fun! Well, you will need to gain about 2 pounds a week. So, thats an extra 7000 calories a week. It sounds like a lot, but its really not that hard. Eat what you normally eat, plus an extra 1000 calories a day, which again, is not that hard... lots of milkshakes! try some of these:

1) eat cheesecake factory fried macaroni and cheese, for 1528 calories
2) pizza hut 9 inch panormous pizza, 1270 calories
3) domino's pizza pasta in a bread bowl, 1400 calories
4) large chocolate shake at a fast food restaurant (mcdonalds, jack in the box, carls jr, etc)- about 1230 (24 oz)
5) jamba juice peanut butter shake, 840 calories
6) 6 tablespoons of peanut butter (600 calories) with 6 oreos (420)... thats delicious

also, make sure you don't burn extra calories... lots of video games and tv! always take the elevator and drive everywhere, no stairs and no walking.
