6 Year Old Sister Is Always Hungry Eats All The Time.

Teenage girl who is always hungry?

I'm 14 years old, female and recently I'm just always hungry.
i do quite a lot of sport, 1 hour cross country training, 2 hrs hockey (sometimes one or one and a half), and 2 1/2 hours of swimming a week plus an hour of PE at school.
usually i don't eat much for breakfast, some cereal and yoghurt unless i have sports before school then i have an apple/banana and a cereal bar before class. I also eat some morning snack, lunch, dinner and recently a substantial snack after school (between lunch and dinner)
I don't think i'm growing much i'm only 150-152 cm? and i weigh about 44 kg
why am i suddenly hungry so frequently? I had a very poor appetite as a child but recently its the opposite.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with metabolism??? i honestly have no clue whether mine's 'fast' or 'slow'

My sister is always hungry?

So I have a 11 year old sister and she seems to be always hungry! Before dinner, maybe a chocolate bar. After dinner, a apple or two. At 10 pm at night- 2 glasses of chocolate milk and a sandwich! She admits that she can't stop eating, and she always seems to be craving something at at least some point of the day! I really want to help her because she seems so upset and I since I love her to death I don't want to see her this way.To me, she's not obese, but sorta overweight by maybe 20-30 pounds (which, as I write this, seems overweight.) I don't really have any tips for her because I don't have the most healthy diet either, but for some reason, I never gain weight. (Yay! :P) I think that because her schedule is so weird, it effects the ways she eats. When she comes home, she makes herself a snack (but really it's more like half a meal), then she does her homework and might eat a apple. Then she goes to swim practice at 5-8:00, eats a hugeee dinner, does more homework, eats another snack (more like a half meal) and goes to sleep. She skips breakfast most of the times because she doesn't have time, since she sleeps so late. And sleeping early isn't a option because of swim practice. She just can't stop!

Is it normal to feel hungry every 3-4 hours, or is the waiting time meant to be longer?

If you usually eat 3 meals a day (with snacks in between), your body will expect food to come in on a schedule. So it’s totally normal if you feel hungry when that doesn’t happen.Other than that, your hunger cues will depend primarily on how large your last meal was and how long ago you had it. If you decide to have a big lunch, you’ll going to get hungry later than you’re usual dinner time unless you’re also more active.

Why is my kitten always hungry and what are the consequences of feeding him so many times in a day?

Kittens are always hungry because of their crazy energy and most of them double their weight nearly every 4 weeks in the first 3 to 4 months. Some have a slower growth curve, some have a faster curve. They are burning off the calories nearly as fast as they take in another small meal.Kittens should never go hungry. Feed the little darling. He or she has a very short infancy and adolescence and little time to learn their survival traits. Which is why they play with teeth and claw and bluster and fluff and itty-bitty adorable mock fury. The consequence of feeding a kitten enough to where he’s content if not a little pot-bellied, is he or she will grow swiftly into a strong, fully developed adult cat. Better that than a sickly, stunted, sad little creature we see in struggling feral litters.Rest assured this ferocious appetite will not last forever. It will slow down as well as the growth rate. Foods marketed for kittens … these have higher fat content which is necessary for adequate brain development … have feeding charts listed. Personally I start the day for my present kitten-in-residence with a helping of soft kitten food followed by kitten dry food for free feeding, namely anytime. I want to make sure he’s gaining enough water in the food, although I make sure there’s a large bowl of water, freshened each morning, for easy access.

My mom doesn't let me or my sister eat junk food at all. me and my sister are getting really skinny, help?

okay, well im 15, and my sister is 13. and we have never had junk food. reason, my mom. she is a health freak, and hates even driving by a mcdonalds or a taco bell, and cant drive past fast food restaraunts without pointing out heavy people, and saying (See what you would be if you ate that crap). i mean i know shes trying to look out for us, but like seriously its totally not fair how my friends always walk into class from lunch with bags of like chips, or like sodas. and i can't have any. my mom doesn't give me lunch money to buy food from the cafeteria, she packs my lunches, and if i go over to a friends house she tells their parents that im not allowed to eat unhealthy foods.

i have chicken legs, and i need some meat on my bones, i feel uncomfortable with my body. me and my sister are really skinny, and i don't want to get to the point of anorexia.
this is what we are not allowed to eat:
- sugary ice cream
- candy
- soda
- fast food
-burgers
- french fries
- pizza
- tacos
- potato chips
- any popular chip brands
- popcorn
- chocolate
- cheese
- white bread
- cupcakes
- cakes
- cookies
- frozen yogurt
- juice
-chocolate milk
- normal milk
- etc.

What we are allowed to eat:
- wheat bread
- vegetables (uncooked without any dressings)
- salad (what i call leaves on a plate)
- water (no sparkling, just water.)
- skim milk
- lean meat (which tastes disgusting)
- this nasty healthy soup my mom buys
- wheat grass shots
- fruit smoothies, made with water, and without sugar. (allright, but i want more flavor)
- fruits
- low fat yogurt.
- anything that has no god damn taste.

i have never eaten big portions any junk food. the only think that i tried, was a french fry from my friends mcdonalds bag, and it was DELICIOUS! i wanted more but she shared with our small group of friends and everybody ate them. :I i really want to be a normal kid and at least try something good! if i had to choose what to try first, i would choose pizza! i hear its amazing, and i want to try some! i swear! im starving here, and my stomach always feels empty. im pretty used to it though. but help!!! i need foooooooddd!! i cant wait until im an adult and i can do what i want. but what do i do now!?

A seven year old has a hard time getting to bed most of the time. He wakes up and annoys his sister. He has a snack before bed every night (bowl of cereal, toast, eggs, or all three). Could eating be keeping him up?

Those are energy dense snacks, and the cereal has a ton of sugar (depending on the brand, type of cereal).Yes.The snacks are quite possibly (more than likely) keeping him up at night.I would try to eliminate them or at least serve them well in advance of bedtime.Do a process of elimination so you can get closer to figuring it out.
