60 Inch Tv Vs 70 Inch

Which one to choose - Sony 48w700c 48 inches Smart Full HD LED TV vs Sony 43w950c 43 inches Android Smart Full HD 3D LED TV?

Always go for the biggest one you can afford. I have a 50 inch Sony 3D Android TV, but then when I bought it I didn’t know about Chromecast and anyways I am into Android app development. Android TV OS is yet to get refined. There are far too many bugs and the app selection is poor. It would seem like Google is not too keen on developing it at a faster pace. For me, it was a downgrade from and older LG 55 inch 3D TV. Size does matter and it is one thing you cannot upgrade. The older 48 inch already has the capability to play videos from usb sticks and hard drives. To get casting and other Android like features such as a web browser, YouTube, Amazon Prime or Hotstar, just buy a Fire TV Stick and plug it in. It costs less than 3000 rs. For even more features, invest in a media player (an Android OS based one if needed) and then you can install any TV compatible Android apps. It would cost just a couple of thousands more. In comparison newer Android TVs would be priced lot higher.

Can a 50 or 60 inch TV stand hold a 65 inch TV?

Does it fit on the stand? If it does the answer is yes.

60 inch Tv vs 70 inch?

Hey the bigger the better right? I think you should go with the 70 inch tv not only because its bigger but you get more for your money. I mean if you're going to buy a 60 inch for $700 then why not spend another $300 dollers for a 70 inch. If you're on a budget then go with the 60 inch but if not go with the 70 inch. In the end it's up to you on what fits you best. Good luck on choosing.

Can I carry a 65-inch LED TV to India from Dubai?

Don't Try it. There is a very high chance of damage in transit. One of my friend bought a sony bravia 55 inch TV from Dubai to Mumbai and it’s screen was badly damaged in transit which couldn't be repaired or replaced.I know it's almost 60% cheaper price then in india but you will have to pay 35% custom duty on arrival at India. Custom officer can consider equivalent indian model’s MRP to calculate that 35% duty. There will be a very nice amount of extra luggage charged by airlines. Sony , Samsung & LG do not provide international warranty on those TVs. So you may endup paying more than what price already available in india. So i strongly recommend you to not bring that 65 inch TV from Dubai to India.

What is the import duty of bringing 50 inch SMART LED TV from Dubai to India?

It is usually 36% of the assessed value. As of April 2018, the assessment value of 50″ Smart LED TV is INR 42,000. Now, 36% on this amount would be INR 15,120. But understand, the cost of the TV in India is only INR 48,000. Some Airlines, including British Airways, Air India, Emirates refused it as Checked in Baggage, it was directed for Cargo. Cargo was around INR 5,500.I got the TV for GBP 450 (~ INR 39,600) in the UK. Now, I ended up paying INR 39600 + INR 15,120 + INR 5,500 = INR 60,220. This was a cheap tactics introduced by the previous government when the Finance Minister’s family was doing this TV business in India to boost their personal company revenue.See the revenue in that division, still this new government is imposing them without knowing that they are degrading the Indian Economy by limiting the imports.—Neither you nor I am John Keats & Shakespeare! Need help with no sound on a new 60 inch sharp aquos lcd?

I have a Sharp 32 inch set about 4 years old. SAP is enabled by an "Audio" button on the remote, next to the Mute button. Pressing the Audio button repeatedly cycles through various audio modes, one of which is SAP.

This is with a TV that has been connected, at various times, to an antenna and to basic cable (no box). I don't believe it works that way connected to a satellite or cable box. SAP, if it's available from the sat/cable company, is enabled via the box remote. Since the Audio button on your remote apparently is non-functional, this may be your circumstance.

By the way, if you do have SAP enabled on a sat/cable box and there is nothing being sent in the SAP channel, you'll get exactly the problem you're seeing. See if you can find SAP in the box menu and turn it off if you find it on.

(A confusion factor re the above idea--you do have good audio from your surround sound system. Well, look at SAP in your box menu anyway, just to ensure it's not part of the problem.)

Also, test your TV with various inputs (cable/sat box, DVD player, game box) to see if sound is missing on everything or with just one input. If it's just one input, you're close to solving it.

Another thing to check: look at the audio sub-menu in your setup menu for an option to turn off the internal speakers when using a surround sound system. Since you have one, you may find that the internal speakers are off. You can turn them back on.

What is the difference between 1280x720 60p vs 1920x1080 60p?

The first means there are 720 horizontal rows of pixels comprising the picture, with 1280 active pixels on each row. TVs with that arrangement are marketed as having 720p screens.

The second one is the same deal, 1080 rows of 1920 pixels. That's the 1080p screen.

Does it really make a difference? Depends on the size of your screen. The human eye can't see a difference on smaller screens, up to around 37 to 42 inches or so (proven in lab tests). Above that, the clarity is better with 1080p.

"60p" (actually 60 Hz) refers to the screen refresh rate: the image is redrawn on the screen 60 times per second. That's the low-end rate in North America--the cheapest sets with the fewest quality features will have it. More is better.
