6300 Liters To Gallons

What is the cost of 1,000 gallons of water in California?

I live in Morgan Hill, CA 95037 located in south Santa Clara County about 75 miles south of San Francisco. Silicon Valley if you prefer. We have a two part rate structure: $22.11 per month base rate for hookup to the town water system, and thereafter $2.06 per “unit” witch is 748 gallons. SO incremental water after the base fee is: .0027 per gallon, If you live up in the hills there as a third fee of $2.27 for the booster station monthly plus $,10 per unit. So actually pretty cheap until you turn on your irrigation system, then expect to pay several hundred bucks per month. Most towns in this area are similar as we are all part of the Santa Clara Valley Water District. Farmers pay a whole lot less. Currently 6% of what residential users pay. (e.g 94% LESS)

How much butter is made from one kg of milk?

Lets assume you have a kg of full cream milk which has a fat percentage of 6%. Hence a kg of milk has 60 gm of fat available to make butter. Separation of cream using cream separator will, theoretically, bring you about 150gm of cream having 40% fat and rest 850gm skim milk. This 150gm cream will churn to white butter of 71.42 gm having fat percentage of 84.To process above, you incur losses about 2%. Therefore, the total output of the butter is 70.42 gm out of 1kg of milk having 6% fat.
