Math Questions (6th grade!!!) Plz help? ?

\Ok the first one is fractions right so here:

1) You have to make the denominators even
1/6= 1/6
1/3= 2/6
(^^change 3 to 6 then the numerator is 2 because you multiplied the denominator by 2 (3x2=6) so 1x2=2)
4/3= 8/6
(^^ you don't have to simplify it yet because the denominators are 6)

so the pattern is
1/6, 2/6, __, 8/6
^
double it

I tried the pattern by doubling the numerator
1/6 x 2 = 2/6 x 2 = 4/6 x 2 = 8/6

then simplify the answer

so the answer is:
1/6, 1/3, 2/3, 4/3

2) (6-2) means that you subtract 6-2= 4
22-10 = 12 so thats how its 12
then you subtract 12-8 and get 4.
ok
hope i helped

I’m in sixth grade and I just got a question from a girl. She said, “Who do you like?” and I said, “Nobody.”. I am panicking because what does she mean when she said, “Who do you like?”? I’m confused and I need help.

Ignore the other person's answer (related to homosexuality. She asked whom you had a romantic attraction to, aka “whom do you like/love/have a crush on?” If you don't understand the definition of love; your parents probably love each other (or at least loved each other if they're currently divorced). She may have asked the question because she or a girlfriend of hers likes you, or simply because she's curious.

How can I help my 6th grade son to get into to IT. Where do I start from? What kind of programming do I start with?

You can start with as simple as Logo. Because it will attract him towards programming. He will enjoy it. If he likes it you can start teaching him HTML. Although it is not that awesome as it can only generate static content on the webpage but it is easy to learn as compared to other languages. At this stage if he likes programming you dont need to do anything else as he will himself research more and start to learn other languages by himself. If he ia not interested then dont force him. Just keep supporting him with whatever he does. Cheers :)

6th grade math question. Help please. Explain if you can?

hi lol

the scale factor is 9 because you made 9 copies of the rectangle

b. the area of the larger rectangle is related to the area of the smaller rectangle because to find the area of the larger rectangle all you have to do is take the smaller rectangle and find its area (base x height) and then multiply the area by 9

the scale factor from the original rectangle to each of the smaller rectangles is 25

the area of each smaller rectangles is related to the area of the orgininal rectangle because all you did was take the original rectangles area and divided it by 25 to get the each smaller rectangle's area

hope i helped...!!
