70th Anniversary Of D-day. Isn

Parents 40th Anniversary, is it "tradition" for the children to throw a party for them?

We had one for my parents, but it was right after my dad lost a brother and two sisters. They wanted to get the families together because it had been a while and they thought if they waited until the 50th everyone would be dead first. We also had a 50th for them last year and not too many people had died before then. I like Katie's idea of a trip. We're doing that for my Mom's 70th birthday in October. We rented a big house on Tybee Island in GA and most of the immediate family is coming.

Can I Kill a Tree Rat with a Daisy Air Rifle?

1. You need a business license and insurance.
2. Exterminators don't shoot pests, they trap or poison pests.
3. A 300 fps Daisy toy lacks the accuracy to hit a squirrel. Let's say you get lucky (or the squirrel gets unlucky) and you hit it. It has insufficient power to kill the animal cleanly. It might die a lingering death several days later. How will you retrieve the carcass? If you shoot a pest in a yard a few blocks away and it ends up dead in my yard, I will NOT appreciate it! If I could trace the carcass back to you, I'd probably file suit against you. First you are the reason a potentially hazardous carcass is now in my yard, my kid touched it and got sick.
I'll have lawyers lined up to sue the daylights out of you.
I'd rethink this plan. It is wrong on many levels. Then again I figure you are a minor and don't know any better. My lawyer wouldn't care however.

What does victory mean to you?

Perhaps,for some..its simply..their dreams,come true..and,that is a pretty,special victory.~*

BARBIE COLLECTORS: Do you keep your Barbies in the box or take them out?

I am a Barbie collector and if you plan on selling or trading them in the future, you would never take one out of the box. If you do, it is not considered Mint that is why collectors will say "NRFB" or “Never Removed From Box.” In addition to the doll being in mint condition, the box it's self has to be in Mint condition for you to say the doll and box is in mint condition. The round plastic stickers that say "Mattel" or "Barbie" should not be broken. They depreciate if the box has light scratches on the plastic or has what they call "shows shelf wear.” If the box has any crease or tear no matter how slight. If you store them in a smoke free environment. All these things and more are taken into consideration when purchasing a collectable Barbie. I would suggest you buy one of two less expensive Barbie from thrift or toy store to dress up with you are your Wal Mart clothes.

Unfortunately, you have two options, one, is they are stored at all times except once or twice a year when you take them out to check and make sure no moisture or dirt has creep in the storage container. Or the box did not crease from the storage. The second, you can view them in an airtight glass display case without lighting (lighting would fade the box). Now that does not mean you cannot sell or trade your used dolls at a later date. You can, it will just be at a much less value. because they have been handleded and are no longer.

Good Luck I hope this helped

Added: Please do not take the advise of someone that removes the doll from their box. Collectors can tell if it has been removed.

It might be wise to get some xl plastic containers and properly store some of your dolls.

@Kianoi It is one thing to remove them from their box to just display, and it is another to handle them as if you are playing with them. I guess I was trained and held accountable to a higher standard! As I mentioned earlier that does not mean they cannot be traded or sold later on, the collector will play less if it has been exposed to the enviroment. That is a know brainer no matter how you try to sugar coat it!
