800 Mg Into Ml How Much

800 mg into ml? How much?

You can't immediately answer that unless you know the density of the material. With a density of 1 g/ml, then it would be 0.8 ml, but if it was, say, mercury, then it would be more like 0.05 ml.

How many 50 mg/ml are in a 10 ml vial of EP?

How many 50 mg/ml are in a 10 ml vial of EP?As Stijn Hommes said, 50 mg/ml is the concentration, this means, 50 mg (milligram) in every ml (milliliter).You have also mentioned that the vial holds 10 ml.Usually, the concentration in a vial is uniform, that means, regardless of how you take out a ml from the vial, you will have 50 mg of the thing in it.(At least) two questions can be asked from here:How many mg of the thing is in a 10 ml vial?[math]\text{concentration} \times \text{volume}[/math][math]50\text{ mg/ml} \times 10 \text{ml} = 500 \text{mg}[/math]How many 50 mg doses can I get out of 10 ml vial?[math]1 \text{doze} = 50 \text{mg}[/math][math]\text{volume} = 10 \text{ml}[/math][math]\text{concentration} = 50 \text{mg/ml}[/math][math]\text{dozes} = \text{volume} \div \text{concentration} \times \text{doze}[/math][math]\text{dozes} = \frac{10 \text{ml}}{50 \text{mg/ml}} \times 50 \text{mg}[/math][math]\text{dozes} = 10[/math]

How many ml equal 10 mg?

mg, or milligrams is a measure of weight where milliliters is a measurement of volume. One cannot convert a measurement of weight to a measurement of volume or vice versa without a knowing the density of the material being measured in volume.

This question therefore does not have enough information to enable it to be answered definitively.

What is 500 mcg in ml?

Micrograms (mcg) is a unit of mass and milliliter (ml) is a unit of volume and so they can't be converted directly. You would need the density (in grams/milliliter) of whatever substance you're looking at to make a conversion.

How many ml are in 1 glass of water?

In US English, a “glass” is ambiguous and not a unit of measure.A cup is 8 (US fluid) ounces; a cup has a volume equal to 16 tablespoons. Two cups make a pint or 16 ounces. The typical volume of an aluminum can is 12 ounces. The expression, “a glass of water,” refers to the drinking glasses one has in the cupboard, which can vary. Seriously.A cup or 8 ounces seems too small to be called a glass—most would agree if a survey were conducted.A glass will be 12–16 ounces.(1mL = 0.03 US fluid ounces is the conversion; value is rounded)There are 59 milliliters in 2 fluid ounces.59 * 6 = 354 mL for 12 oz.59 * 8 = 472 mL for 16 oz. (472 mL is 0.472 liter, approaching half a liter, 0.5 liter)A “glass” (of water) is not an actual unit of measure, it is similar to saying a bunch of bananas or flock of geese.

How do I calculate the mL of 1.0 M HCl required to neutralize 800 mg of Mg(OH)2?

Can anyone show me the right way of doing this...

First: How do I convert 800 mg of Mg(OH)2 into mol?

800 mg = 0.8 g

I thought that # mol Mg(OH)2 = grams of Mg(OH)2 / Molar mass (0.8 g / 58.3198 g/mol) = .0137 mol

Is this the correct answer???

If so then the rest of the calculations is a breeze.

Calculate the ml of 1.0 M HCl required to neutralize 800 mg of Mg(OH)2.?

find moles, using molar mass:
0.800 grams of Mg(OH)2 @ 58.32 g/mol = 0.01372 moles of Mg(OH)2

by the equation:
1 mol Mg(OH)2 & 2 Mol HCl --> 1 MgCl2 & 2 H2O
0.01372 moles of Mg(OH)2 reacts with twice as many moles of HCl = 0.02743 mol HCl

find volume:
(0.02743 mol HCl) divided by 1.0 mol / litre HCl = 0.02743 litres of HCl

your answer of 27.43 ml of HCl
should likely be rounded off
