I am hearing the packages of 1.5 crores and 75 lakhs these days in IIT campus placements. Where are they made to do their work, in the US or India?

Please do not trust media. They exaggerate the actual campus placement scene. Also, how does it matter to me if my mate bagged a package of 1.5 crores? Do whatever best you can do.Coming to your question, some people make a package of 1 to 1.5 crores INR, but these offers are for outside India. In my batch, these companies were offering crores:Microsoft Redmond [USA]: 1.2 Crores PAUber [USA]: 1.2 Crore PAOracle [USA]: 93 LPASamsung [South Korea]: 1.2 Crore PAIn India, no company offers more than 40 LPA CTC to fresher. Some high paying companies are:Tower Research: 40 LPAGoldman Sachs: 31 LPADirecti: 26LPARubrik: 26 LPAUber India: 22 LPAMicrosoft India: 20 LPAGoogle India: 20 LPAAdobe: 20 LPAAmazon: 20 LPAFlipkart: 20 LPASamsung: 20 LPACapital one: 13 LPATCS: 6 LPAThese figures are only for IITs, placement of batch 2017.Companies with similar culture and assets offers comparable CTC. Example, TCS and Infosys have similar culture and Google, Microsoft and Apple have similar. Please don't get overexcited by above number, it's all CTC. The below picture explain you CTC vs. in hand salary.Source: CTC SALARY IN HAND | Salary Meme on me.meMore points on these news reports:This news gives space to the parents, junior students to expect such things which are not possible. That leads to depression, sometimes even suicide.Others students, who are sitting in placement, start feeling more stress because their well-wishers get influenced by this news and start expecting same from them too.Dollar to INR conversion is not fair here because there is a huge difference in the living cost in Bangalore and Mountain View.Media does publish their long story of crore package's students without talking to them.Sometimes institute does not provide the right information. So be happy with whatever you have because that's yours and try to do better.Thanks.

What is a Construction Mechanic in the Navy like ?

In my opinion, CM's out of most other jobs in the Seabees (and the navy in general for that matter) is one of the best jobs ever. To start off, you are a land unit. Mechanics are also in demand on any base you go.. .so have a chance choose to deploy with the Army, Marines, Navy, or even the Air Force (rarely), especially if you are a reservist. Plus, you get to work on all kinds of vehicles from Humvees to giant 18 wheelers on both gas and diesel.

Life in the navy as a CM has more physical demands than most, since you are a Seabee, you will train like a Seabee. But this shouldn't be an issue since your other option is a CE and they are also seabees. While Seabees in general work VERY hard, CM's work extra hard in terms of lack of sleep at times. Mechanics are always in demand and under-manned. It would probably be the most work you've ever done in your life. But really, that's what you make of it. Some think it's miserable and others love working and exploring the insides of cars. Other advantages of CM's are the BONUS. Since they are always in demand, their re-enlistment bonus is on the higher side of navy's bonus standards.

In general, Seabees have a really great vibe and a family-like atmosphere. CM's are no exception to this but it looks as though "Alpha Company" seems to take it a step further. All CM's are alpha company. Most alpha company types seem to really care about each other's success and go the extra mile to help you get squared away.

Some drawbacks of being a CM though:
* Overworked - as mentioned.. you will always be working.
* Danger - CM's go on convoys, the most vulnerable job in the field.
* Standards - It seems CM Training has really high standard of military conduct. Such as uniform inspections, etc than most other units in the seabees.

But really, like anything else in the navy... it's what you make of it. CM or CE would both be miserable if you have a crappy attitude. But it can really be the most awesome time of your life with a positive one.

Will elder scrolls online have a monthly fee on ps4?

Although I have heard a lot of crap about this game, truth be told since I got my ps4 I have missed venturing across the lands of skyrim as I did on PS3 and would love to get back into the elder scrolls world once more. However, I absolutely HATE monthly fees. Especially since I already pay to play online games with psplus. After reading the description on the psstore, I didn t see anything about the monthly fees. So is it a yes or a no? Thanks!
