9ALL5 WHAT DOES THIS STAND FOR?

I suspect you know and if you don't, you're too young to know.

What does P.S. Stand for ?

It means ‘postscript’. It derives from the Latin expression, ‘post scriptum’ that means ‘after writing.’

That's what it means, but its purpose:

It is usually included two lines after a person’s signature on a letter. Most often it was used to include information, an afterthought or to make a point that the writer forgot to mention or include in the body of their letter. When letters were most often handwritten or typed (using a typewriter – remember those?), there was no such thing as ‘copy / cut and paste / insert’ as we have in today’s word processors. So, rather than retyping/ rewriting the letter, it was a simple matter to include the omission or afterthought in the PS.

The postscript is little needed today, but if you want to make a point that people will remember, you may still include a postscript. Most people will little remember what you wrote in your letter, but, more than likely, they will remember what you wrote in your postscript for two reasons:

1. It’s the last thing the recipient reads and,
2. The PS stands alone and not ‘lost or buried’ in a paragraph within the body of the letter.

Note in your example you made a point you want the reader to remember. This is exactly its purpose.

What does WALL-E stand for?

WALL-E:
Waste
Allocator
Load
Lifter
Earth Class

EVE:
Extraterrestrial
Vegetation
Examiner.

It stands for Postscript which comes from the Latin Post Scriptum, which literally means 'something written after'. [ Post = after, scriptum = write ]It was initially used to mention after the main body of a letter/article some important point missed in the text. Either that, or in case of letters, a P.S might contain information which was not known while composing and finishing the letter. Example :Mrs. Tuppens has left 2,000,000$ to me in her will------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. Hopefully, I'll be a millionaire when we next meet, because the doctors aren't very hopeful.P.SMrs. Tuppens recovered yesterday. With the advent of Instant messaging and electronic mailing, editing letters is not a problem anymore. For example, the hopeful millionaire could have deleted the draft and written this instead :Mrs. Tuppens had left me 2,000,000$ in her will. But she has reconciled with her son on her sickbed. I do not claim to be overjoyed by this prospect. So why do people still use P.S ?I am sorry, I cannot say I love you more than anyone in the world. Laila will always be more dear to me. P.S : Laila is my dog. Thus P.S is used only as a literary technique nowadays, much like you would use figures of speech. Not compulsory but decorative. P.S : PPS is used to add even more stuff you might have forgotten in the first P.S.PPS :Multiple P.S's are not classy. Get your stuff together before writing.

What does .me stand for in a url?

Hello,

Some sites will end in different codes which will let you know which country they most operate in. If you're in the US you will most likely see .com and others like in Mexico will most likely see .mx. If you go to Google in the USA you will go to Google.com but if you're in India you will get redirected to .in based on what country your IP Address is connecting from. .me stands for the country Montenegro, or it can sometimes be used for personal uses to let you know that it's someone's personal site.

For “Life’s Good”. Not directly, but yes. But no.LG is a conglomerate whose name was created from a merge of its two most notable and successful companies back in the 60s:the Lak-Hui Chemical Corporation (pronounced “Lucky”) andGoldstar, a very successful electronics division. The new name came from a merge of those two names, the Lak-Hui Goldstar corporation. As the company grew dramatically and expanded into many other areas (and also other regions), it was decided in 1995 to remove this separation (of the chemical and electronics division) from the name completely and apply the name “LG” to all affiliates of the company. However, later it was decided to create a stronger identity around the brand, so the tagline “Life’s Good” (in the sense of “Just do it”) was added, which happens to have the same first letters as LG.Today, the LG group is active in so many areas that it doesn't really make any sense to apply any deeper definition to the letters “LG”, as they probably wouldn't capture the wide scope of the company anyway.

PHP stands for Hypertext Preprocessor. PHP is a powerful server scripting language, and is used for making dynamic and interactive Web pages. There are so many famous web applications developed with php .It is easy to understanding and access to the people even to those who encounter it for the first time.PHP code is usually processed by a PHP interpreter implemented as a module in the web server or as a Common Gateway Interface (CGI) executable. The web server combines the results of the interpreted and executed PHP code, which may be any type of data, including images, with the generated web page. PHP code may also be executed with a command-line interface (CLI) and can be used to implement standalone graphical applications. The standard PHP interpreter, powered by the Zend Engine, is free software released under the PHP License. PHP has been widely ported and can be deployed on most web servers on almost every operating system and platform, free of charge. For more queries reach our developers at PHP Development page of our company website .

Ok, first let’s take ‘e.g.’ It DOESN’T stand for “example given.” E.g. is an abbreviation for the Latin “exempli gratia,” which is translated literally as “for the sake of example,” or more loosely “for example.” It’ use is often confused with “i.e.” which is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase “id est,” or “that is.”Now, as to “etc.” It’s an abbreviation for the Latin “et cetera,” the literal translation of which is “and the rest,” or in the common vernacular, “and so on.” As an aside, I want to scream when I hear someone say “excetra.” No, No, NO! It’s gotten so bad that I’m beginning to see it abbreviated as “ect.”A good portion of the English language, and not a small part of our grammar, is taken from the Latin. A number of modern languages are direct descendants of Latin. I would wish for a return to when Latin was taught in schools. It’s anything but a dead language.
