I disagree that "everyone" gets fat. If you mean healthy people, I agree they all have a capacity to get fat (if they consume enough calories to pack on the weight). That said, not everyone actually does get fat. Some people gain weight as their metabolism changes with age, but even many of them never become "fat". People who have certain illnesses will not get fat, yet those with other diseases or disorders may become morbidly obese. How fat someone will necessarily get in life really depends on the individual. It can't be generalized to include "everyone".
